Let the Obama Disaster Begin:

Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 08:13 AM
We're handing our country over to a man with no experience.
No experience as a businessman, or as a government official. All because
we dislike George W. Bush. America wanted ABB (Anything But Bush).

Well congratulations!
We've now elected a man to govern America whose entire experience
'governing' is having served less than 4 years in the US Senate.
During which time he never put his name on one bill of any significance.
He never even held a meeting for the committee that he chaired!

He arrived in Washington as a celebrity and then, spent 4 years running
for President. Worse yet, he now takes over the White House during the
worst economic crisis of our lifetime.

People across America naively say they hope Obama will solve this
economic crisis. Those who voted for him not only hope so, but believe it so.

I have a question for you. When I hire someone, I want to know about
their skills and experience for the job they're applying for. So, America
thinks Obama can fix this mess. With what? Voodoo? How can he solve
a business problem, when he knows absolutely nothing about business?

In the 25 years since we graduated Columbia University Class of '83 together,
Obama has never started a business, run a business, or risked his money on a
business deal. Not once in 25 years. During the campaign, he talked about
creating millions of jobs. Well, the next one he creates will be his first. Good
luck with that.

President-Elect Obama has never met a payroll, not to mention paying
employee payroll taxes or health insurance. Yet his supporters, fans and
voters think he holds the answers to a crumbling economy? I don't think
he could run a bakery, let alone the U.S. economy. How frightening is this
scenario?

I feel like a father who's fallen ill and had to hand over the keys to his
business to his 16 year old son- whose entire prior business experience
was running a lemonade stand at age 6. That's what we've just done to
the entire United States economy, except Obama hasn't even run a
lemonade stand.

My educated guess is Obama was the type of kid who got the neighborhood
lemonade stand shut down by calling City Hall to complain. His complaint:
the kid's lemonade stand didn't have a government-issued business license.

Lawyers to the left of me – lawyers to the right;
but not a drop of common sense.

Let's talk about the only serious experience Obama has. Experience that I consider
quite a negative.

It's not bad enough that he's never had any business experience. It gets
worse. Far worse. Obama is a lawyer. Lawyers mess up almost every
business deal they get involved with. Why? Because of a deadly combination
of big egos, combined with a lack of business acumen.

Lawyers learn absolutely nothing about business in law school. If they
learned about business, it would be called 'Business School.'
In law school, lawyers-to-be are taught how to sue businesses. There
aren't even offered courses on how to run one. There certainly aren't
any courses on how to run an economy.

Once out in the real world and practicing law, lawyers jump into business
deals with confidence, bravado and gusto. As well as one goal in mind- screwing up
every deal they can get theiur hands on- to prove how important they are.
And to justify their fat fees.

Their huge egos force them to weigh in on things they know absolutely
nothing about. After years of dealing with lawyers, I learned to appreciate
one of the great "inside lawyer" jokes: What is the most amazing trait of
lawyers? They can quote their fees without smiling.

This is one of the big problems of modern-day government. It's made up
of lawyers. Lawyers with some of the biggest egos on the planet. Lawyers
interested in playing the game. Interested in acquiring power and control
over your life. Because that's what lawyers do.

These lawyers try to get government involved in every and any facet of
our lives, no matter what. This whether they know a thing about what
they are getting involved in or not! Why? Because these lawyers-turned-politicians
want to justify their fat salaries and lofty titles. They learned this in Law School-
how to act important, charge big fees and take control of everything they're involved in.

Once these lawyers are elected as Mayor, to Congress, to Senate, or worse yet,
to the White House- do you think they'll ever let on that they don't know what
they're doing?

Politicians will never admit government doesn't have the solution.

If they did, they would lose their power and control over you.

President Obama will have to prove his brilliance and assert his power by
trying to solve things - even if government can only make it worse.
To a lawyer-politician, that's far better than admitting they don't know.

Obama and his wife are both lawyers. Neither have built a business.
Neither have ever been exposed to the real business world.
As a matter of fact, they weren't even business lawyers- they were both civil
rights lawyers and 'community activists.'

Do you have any idea what that means? They have spent their lives suing
and intimidating banks and businesses. The closest Obama ever got the
banking system was as ACORN's lawyer. Then, and as a 'community activist',
he pressured and intimidated banks to lend to unqualified buyers. And on property
that was not worth the paper the mortgage was written on.

This 'affirmative action lending' that banks were forced to do was the single
biggest cause of the mortgage meltdown and implosion of the American banking
system. Based on this "success" we've now put Barak Obama in charge of
the entire United States economy?

So what's the first thing a lawyer with a huge ego and no knowledge of
business will think he should do as President? He'll use the money and power
of government to try and fix the economy. Conveniently forgetting it's your
money he's playing with.

President Obama will create more laws while adding more regulations.
He's already said he wants to raise the minimum wage (thereby huring
business and costing jobs). Of course, in the spirit of fairness, he's planning
on ending secret ballot voting for unions (This will instantly create an environment
of intimidation and manipulation for dissenting union members).

President Obama is planning to raise taxes dramatically on our most successful
entrepreneurs and business owners, America's job-creators, to provide
himself with more money to 'fix' the economy.

Obama will punish success, while rewarding people who expect handouts.
He'll "create" jobs by expanding government. He'll spend billions on
government projects. All while create millions of new government jobs
for bureaucrats (increasing the size and power of government employee
unions). He was so brazen, it was recently disclosed, that Obama sent letters
in the days before the election to federal employees telling them how he'd give
them more power and expand their ranks. And of course he will redistribute the
wealth from taxpayers to union members by bailing out the Big 3 Automakers.
This is the least he can do to repay the huge contributions from those same unions.

Hey dude – Where's MY Bailout?

The Big 3 quietly received $25 Billion with a “B” just weeks ago. Few
Americans noticed this during the giant distraction of the stock market
meltdown. Now they've come back asking for $25 Billion more only weeks later.

Guess where the money will go? To pay for the same outrageous union pay,
pension plans and lifetime health care that bankrupted the Big Three
Automakers in the first place. We are simply subsidizing failed union
contracts that destroyed the U.S. auto industry in the first place.

Of course, it also wiped out the city of Detroit, which now wants a $10
billion dollar bailout, and gave Michigan the worst performing state economy
in the entire country. Gotta love those union contracts- the unions in Detroit
are like Canadien Mounties- they always get you. They'll either bankrupt you
today...or tomorrow...or the next day. But they always complete the job. With
friends like that, who needs enemies?

Does this sound like good business practice to you?

Of course, there is no choice for Obama and the Democratic Congress-
they received millions of votes and tens of millions of dollars from auto
unions and auto workers. They need to repay them today to keep their
support, not to mention their donations in 2012.

Only lawyer-politicians could possibly dream up this agenda to 'save' our
economy. But what are they saving it from? From capitalism?

Obama won't rest until the U.S. economy resembles France.'s The stagnant
French economy is dominated by big unions and big government. There are
few entrepreneurs or business owners in France- with taxes so high, there
is no way for individuals to ever save enough money to open a business.
Even if they did, the onerous taxes and regulations destroy their chances of
success. There are only two viable career routes in France: work for
government, or join a union and work for a big corporation. Is that what
we want our economy to become? I don't think Americans really want
Europe's version of big-government social capitalism (a nice way of saying
Socialism).

"GM, Ford and Chrysler are literally dead men walking.”

Where does it all end? Government giving another $25 Billion to GM,
Ford and Chrysler makes absolutely no business sense. Because of their
outrageous union contracts, the Big 3 Automakers can never turn their
companies around. They are 21st century dinosaurs - GM, Ford and
Chrysler are literally dead men walking.

Their entire business is based on a failed model (excuse the pun). Notice that
Honda, Nissan and Toyota aren't asking to be bailed out. They're building new
plants across America with non-union employees. They beat the Big 3 U.S. Automakers
by cutting costs and increasing efficiency. This is in large part by keeping their
payroll costs down to $30 to $40 per hour, instead of the $70 per hour
that American auto companies pay to union employees. Don't get me wrong-
If you can make that kind of wage- GREAT! Go get it. But only if you can earn it
without bankrupting your company, or asking taxpayers to bail you out.
One thing is clear with the auto industry- those $70 per hour wages are a fraud-
they can only work if they are subsidized by the U.S. government.

Is it fair to pay $50 Billion (if that's even enough) to the Big 3 Automakers while
successful companies get nothing? Why would we reward failure and
incompetence by the companies and unions? Oh, I forgot, that's Obama's
business model. Spread the wealth around, punish the successful and reward
people asking for handouts (his voters).

Who will pay for my bailout?

Many Americans are asking 'who will pay for my bailout?'

I'm a small business owner. I'm having tough times as well. My friends
with small businesses are all in big trouble right now. We're struggling to
survive. If you sell anything for a living right now, you are in big trouble-
because American consumers have stopped buying anything. Small business
creates a majority of private sector jobs in America and 75% of all new jobs.
Aren't we too important to the U.S. economy to fail? Who is bailing us out?
If we create by far more jobs than the Big 3 Automakers, why isn't there a
small business bailout plan from the U.S. Treasury?

Is it because small businesses aren't unionized? Or is it because they
didn't give huge donations to Obama and the Democratic Congress?

Allow me to present the free market alternative. It's simple- get government
out of the way. Any money government gives as 'bailouts', no matter to whom,
is money taken away from you and me. It's money taken from taxpayers, investors and
business people who would have used it to efficiently create jobs and wealth. Now it's
been confiscated by big government who will inefficiently use it to create less jobs than
the private sector could have created. You haven't gained a thing with a New Deal or
Great Society government program. For every job it creates, 2 (or more) jobs are lost
in the private sector. Money doled out by government to 'solve' this crisis, is money
taken away from you and me, away from the taxpayers and job-creators.

Money given to the Big 3 Automakers is a gigantic waste, temporarily
propping up (and rewarding) failed companies. One thing is certain about bailing out the
auto industry- they'll be back for more money...soon.

The free market alternative is to let the automakers go bankrupt or otherwise
find their own way. Will they go out of business? Probably not. The courts
will allow them to reorganize. They can and should renegotiate their union contracts,
through bankruptcy. Once they do this, they'll emerge as leaner and more
efficient companies.

Then and only then they will be able to compete with Toyota, Honda and
Nissan. If they don't, they'll be replaced by new auto companies with
better business plans. That's called capitalism.

Did the airline industry as we know it end when TWA went out of business?
Of course not. Out of the ashes, Southwest Airlines emerged with a new
business model. And it works! They get you there on time, don't lose your
luggage, charge low fares, and a nice profit. A profit both they and their
shareholders pay taxes on, too!

TWA deserved to fail. If we had bailed out TWA, there may never have
been room in the marketplace for a Southwest Airlines. What we need right
now is a "Southwest Motors."

The other choice to bankruptcy is a government bailout that allows the auto
industry to continue with their reckless, bloated business model at taxpayer expense.

Most importantly, all of this money the federal government is giving away
has to come from someone and somewhere. It's being stolen from us, the
American taxpayer, without explanation, discussion, debate or permission.

It's not government's money to give. It is our money- yours and mine. These
endless bailouts will keep our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren
enslaved. Enslaved by big government, with oppressively high taxes for
generations to come. But then that was Obama's plan in the first place.

Re: Let the Obama Disaster Begin:

Obama: Bumbling Incompetent?or Bumbling Marxist?
Monday, July 5, 2010, 10:18 PM

Welcome to ?the Teleprompter Depression.? Each Time Obama Steps in Front of a Teleprompter, Another Business Dies.

As a common-sense small businessman, I have a front row seat to a slow motion economic Armageddon that will be written about, discussed and debated for decades to come. Big shot economists don?t listen to guys like me. They scoff as I keep predicting in commentary after commentary that small business is suffering a catastrophe of epic proportions- leading this nation towards levels of unemployment and economic crisis that will rival or surpass the Great Depression. Just last week, the Bureau of Labor Statistics quietly reported that the labor force dropped by roughly one million people during just the last two months. If those numbers were added into the unemployment numbers, it would shock and terrify the American people.

I do not believe the tragedy that is unfolding before our eyes is a mistake, coincidence, or due to incompetence. I believe my old college classmate Obama (Class of ?83 Columbia University) is a Marxist purposefully trying to destroy capitalism, by overwhelming the system, thereby creating a distraction giving him cover to redistribute America?s wealth to his voters (those who create no jobs, pay few taxes, depend on government handouts for survival, or work for government or unions). As a bonus, he gets to bankrupt the groups that contribute virtually all the money to his political opposition. This is truly a ?Marxist Triple Play.?

Consider a few highlights of Obama?s reign of destruction:

#1) The biggest income tax increase in the history of America will take effect on Jan 1st, 2011. The new tax increase falls almost 100% on small business owners and high-income taxpayers (whose contributions happen to fund Obama?s political opposition). As a result, many more jobs will be lost and more businesses closed.

#2) A dramatic 60% capital gains tax increase (from 15% to 23.8% effective rate, including new universal healthcare taxes) will accompany the big income tax increase above. More jobs will be lost, more businesses closed.

#3) Taxes on dividends will increase from 15% to 39.6%, and then another 3.8% by 2013 for Obama?s new healthcare taxes. Stocks will be crushed and older Americans will be devastated (because they live off dividends, investments, and bank interest). More lives ruined, more jobs lost.

#4) New taxes on income, investments, and even tanning bed users soon take effect to pay for Obamacare. Worse,18,000 new I.R.S. agents will be hired to enforce these taxes (at a cost of billions annually in new government employee salaries, pensions and benefits). More jobs lost.

#5) The pending Cap and Trade legislation threatens dramatic new taxes on anyone who owns a business, owns a home, owns an auto, or buys products manufactured or delivered through the use of energy. Once again, the more you own, the more you'll be taxed. More jobs will be lost, more manufacturing jobs sent overseas, more homes foreclosed.

#6) The pending financial reform bill threatens onerous new rules, regulations and taxes on banks and Wall Street. More jobs will be lost (and more banking and financial jobs sent overseas).

#7) The pending new jobs bill threatens gigantic new taxes on every Sub Chapter S corporation in America. More jobs will be lost and more small businesses ruined.

#8) The threat of a gigantic new national sales tax (VAT) on everything manufactured, bought and sold in America looms large. Fewer jobs, reduced consumer spending, more businesses closed forever.

#9) Obama is pushing for the reduction or elimination of tax deductions (such as mortgage or charitable contributions) for high income earners (mostly small business owners). More jobs lost, reduced charitable contributions, and the real estate industry damaged beyond repair.

#10) The threat of bans or restrictions on offshore oil drilling being put permanently into place. More jobs lost (and more jobs sent overseas where drilling is welcomed). As a bonus for Obama, he gets to ruin the Texas economy.

#11) All signs indicate that Obama will soon propose to take the income cap off FICA (Social Security) taxes. If this were to happen, a successful small business owner (if there are any left) could see his or her FICA taxes alone go from an already bloated and burdensome $15,000 per year to an unimaginable $150,000 (or more). In U.S. history, no taxpayer has ever seen a TEN TIMES tax increase in one year. This devastating nightmare will wipe out small business and cause people that Obama calls ?rich? to lose their homes and businesses.

#12) A new I.R.S. law (with the passage of Obamacare) requires business owners to file thousands of new I.R.S. forms each year documenting virtually every expenditure made by their business. As a result of this blizzard of new paperwork, small business faces ruin.

#13) Let?s not forget the gigantic tax hikes on the state and local level for income taxes, sales taxes, property taxes and new taxes disguised as ?user fees.? Local taxes are already at levels that taxpayers and small businesses can no longer afford to pay.

#14) Finally, Obama refuses to consider lowering the 2nd highest corporate tax rate (40%) in the industrialized world. As a result, more businesses will choose to leave the U.S. (and more jobs will be sent overseas).

And you wonder why there are no jobs? You wonder why there is no recovery? This is the ?Teleprompter Depression.? Every time Obama steps in front of a teleprompter another business dies.

Each of these taxes and proposed taxes is a job killer. Taken together, the Obama regime?s policies are the equivalent of General Sherman?s march to the sea- leaving a tragic path of destruction in its wake. Obama has launched an unprecedented, overwhelming, death-by-tax assault on the groups that fund fiscally conservative causes and candidates: taxpayers and business owners.

There are only two reasonable explanations. Obama is executing a bumbling Marxist scheme to destroy capitalism, expand government to Soviet-like levels, and turn Americans into dependent serfs begging for government to save them, clothe them and feed them. ?Bumbling? because the plan never works- eventually Obama will run out of taxpayers to rob, thereby bankrupting his own programs and bringing down his government. Or the other choice is that he is truly the most incompetent bumbling President in modern history. I?ll leave it to you to decide.

Either way -- God help America.

WAYNE ALLYN ROOT is a failure. He'll tell you as much. He's "the world's most successful failure," a man who stumbled from job to job,

As Root tells it, he tried, and failed, at thirteen different careers. He was rejected from law school. He failed as a realtor four different times, blowing tens of thousands of dollars on brochures for properties no one bought. He managed a Manhattan restaurant, then "got bored and quit." He became an entertainment agent, signing one client, and snagging him one job -- in six months. His biggest innovation was "Ivy League Home Cleaners," a maid service staffed with college graduates, none of whom, quite understandably, wanted to become maids.

Some sections of the book didn't hold up so well. "This professional prognosticator," Root wrote then, "believes that the GOP will dominate American politics (on all levels) for the foreseeable future." But by mid-2006, Root was telling Republicans that they were throttling their message and their voters by building up big government, and by cracking down on gamblers. By early 2007, he was exploring his Libertarian Party bid

As long as he is preaching doom and gloom Bruce will love him regardless.

The Obama Great Depression: Why There Will Be No Jobs.

The Community-Organizer-in-Chief Forms Unholy Alliance Between Big Brother and Big Business

Wayne Allyn Root's Blog

Poor Obama. He just has no idea how to create a job. He?s changed strategy by 180 degrees?and he?s still grasping at straws. That?s what happens when you hire a community organizer as President. Obama?s previous experience at creating jobs was to extort them in protests against big corporations. But that approach doesn?t work when you?re President. The President can?t count ?jobs extorted.? That is why poor Obama is grasping at straws.

The first desperate act of Obama?s Presidency was to play the socialism card. He thought if government took control over vast swaths of industry -- banking, autos, student loans, and healthcare -- that would create jobs. Instead job losses accelerated. Then Obama guessed that if government threw large sums of money into job creation that would certainly solve the problem. He soon found that any job created by government costs obscene amounts of money and actually takes a job (or two) away from the private sector.

Then he gave a huge welfare payment disguised as a ?tax cut? to his voters -- people that never created a job or paid taxes. That added more debt, but didn't create one job. Next there was a jobs bill that created exactly -0- jobs. Then there were multiple attempts at massive tax hikes. No dice. The American people were repelled. Worse, American business reacted to the uncertainty by killing more jobs, or shipping them overseas -- where taxes are lower. The community organizer was stumped.

Back to work organizing more nasty, socialist, job-killing bills such as Obamacare, Cap and Trade, and Card Check. You gotta love Obama?s enthusiasm for unions. Card Check makes it easy to unionize the entire country -- even small businesses with 5 employees. Why not? After all, the states with the highest number of union members all lead the country in moving vans leaving the state. And of course we all know how well unions worked out for the automakers, U.S. Postal Service, and government-run public schools. But hey, the desperate community organizer was running out of options.

For good measure Obama threw in lots of sermons to demonize business. That backfired. Unemployment went up, the American people (who are employed by business) got angry, and Obama?s Democratic Party suffered the worst landslide in modern political history.

So, now poor desperate Obama had to re-organize (kind of like a bankruptcy). The marxists, union organizers, lawyers, and Ivy League eggheads he appointed to every level of government weren?t working. So he changed direction 180 degrees -- Obama embraced business. Or so the lefty media tried to convince us. But Obama hasn?t embraced business. He has embraced BIG BUSINESS?i.e. corporate America. He has sold out to the biggest companies in America at the expense of small business. He has brought in the CEO of GE and the Daley family to run things. That?s like putting the mob in charge of an entire city. That didn?t work out so well in Chicago. But hey, it?s the only trick Obama has left.

Hiring William Daley may make Wall Street smile, but it won?t create one job on Main Street. He?s the son of the royal family of Chicago. They?ve never created a job in their lives -- they?ve taxed, extorted, and zoned in return for favors and money. Daley is a $10 million per year Wall Street big shot. He knows as much about creating jobs on Main Street as the old King of England. And as far as Jeffrey Immelt, the CEO of GE who now heads Obama?s Economic Council?he?s merely along for the ride so he can arm twist the community-organizer-in-chief for another few hundred billion dollars in stimulus funds and solar energy tax breaks for GE.

Here?s the brutal reality. The great community organizer has in fact joined hands with big business in an unholy alliance that will destroy even more jobs. I have nothing against big business. In fact, I love capitalism. But nothing is more dangerous for society than crony capitalism. The alliance of big business in bed with big government distorts capitalism. Together this group?s goal is to create more laws, rules and regulations that destroy the ability of any small business to survive, so that big business holds the monopoly (and all the special interest tax breaks). They want only multi-national companies with armies of lawyers, lobbyists and accountants to survive -- a world where the only employers are big government and big business. They want a hybrid of socialism mixed with fascism-- a form of corporatism.

Poor desperate Obama has chosen the wrong path once again. America is built on a foundation of small business. Most of the taxes and jobs are created by small business and small entrepreneurial start-ups. Seventy percent or more of new jobs are created by mom and pop businesses. Since 1980 not one net job has been created by big business- the entire increase of net jobs was created by companies with 200 or fewer employees. Yet Obama has now morphed Big Brother with big business to ?save the economy.? Remember when Obama talked of "saving jobs." That didn't work out too well either. Every time our President mentions "saving us" we should run the other way.

Desperate people make bad choices. Obama has chosen a path to power, not a path to economic recovery. He may have helped his chances of re-election, but I fear he has dealt one final deathblow to the economy. There will be few new jobs in this Obama Great Depression.

Glenn Becks theory is the economy is going to be so bad that That Hillary is going to step in as the more Moderate, reasonable Democrat to save the day

I have heard that alot too.If you watch some of the Youtube video's from the primary and see how Obama's team cheated and lied you can see how Clinton never stood a chance to win.Just like the presidential election ,team Obama is one of the dirtiest most crooked groups in the world. How they stole all the delegates in the primaries is a crime in it's self.

Re: Let the Obama Disaster Begin:

I blame the Democratic party for the situation we are in. Despite the fact that Hillary was a strong candidate and the Republicans had no chance to beat her after Bush, the Democratic elite refused to unify in support of Hillary. Obama was always vague, evasive, and without substance, but the party flocked to him like sheep. I don't know what anyone ever saw in his speeches because every other word is "um" or "ah." He is the most useless president. And before Joe C. says that I voted for Obama, while that is true, it was not by choice and I voted for Hillary in the primary. Obama has been useless and I always imagined this to be the case based on his speeches and early cabinet selections.

Re: Let the Obama Disaster Begin:

I got 2 questions:

If McCain/Palin had won the election, what would they have done that would have saved the economy?

What will be the Republicans strategy to defeat Obama next year? So far, the GOP hasn't united behing a theme. They just keep bashing Obama (and that's a fair thing to do in a bad economy). But WHAT IS THE PLAN?

"The only way for Obama to stimulate the enormous private sector job growth needed to ensure Obama's reelection is for Obama to announce he is not running for reelection, which would unleash a wave of investment and economic activity not seen since the Great Depression."

And what alternative do you have to Obama? I know you liked Palin, but she hasn't announced anything. The Republican field looks weak and submissive - they are just like Obama but even more pro-corporate.

The ideal candidate would be a fearless, anti-establishment, rock-ribbed conservative with a ton of experience in crisis-management...one with a reputation for kicking the progressive propaganda machine in the teeth.

Boehner, Cantor, McConnell, take heed:

No more patty cake with communists!

Palin isn't weak nor submissive, and she's anything but "pro-corporate".

I wasn't referring to Palin when I used those terms. Those comments were directed at the existing republican candidates who are definitely running, such as Romney and Gingrich. I haven't seen enough of Palin to comment one way or another, as she doesn't appear to have as much experience dealing with corporations or other elite interests.

In alphabetical order: Bachmann, Cain, Palin, Perry and...hmmm...

All have their strengths and weaknesses, but frankly, the rest of the field stinks worse than toe jam.

Of those four, whoever progressives hate and attack the most wins the crown. I'm betting the evil cowards pick a girl or the new black kid in town.

What has Ron Paul accomplished? The guy's a fossil who's been in Congress forever. So what has he done to stop America's slide into socialism? :+clueless

To sum up my support, he is the only one I trust to actually, shrink, not cut around the edges, the size of the federal government.

Anyone else speaking about closing the Dept of Energy, closing the IRS, ending the income tax, closing The Dept of Education, restoring sound money??

Forget about the issue of weather or not it can be done or not, anyone else even speaking like that?

This time next year , as this economy spirals out of control, we will need someone strong and confident to defend free markets and capitalism

That will become a big issue as more and more people gang up the "greedy banks", "Evil Wall Street"

Ron Paul is the man for the job

Ron Paul has no credibility. While he talks a good game (actually, not really...most of the time people can't comprehend what the hell he's saying, unlike Hayek, Friedman, Reagan, Thatcher, Washington, Jefferson etc.) he'll turn around the next day and sodomize Barney Frank. :shoot:

The Ron Paul cult is as creepy as Hope and Change, and scaring away voters!
