The Tribe drafted him, but did not sign him in 2005 with the 1,261 pick!!....The Tribe decided he didnt fit any pitcher type (closer, starter, etc.) and elected not to sign him. Being an indians fan boy does that make me sick:hangt . Baseball is a crazy game and it is tough to predict the future with these young ballplayers and Lincecum is a prime example.

Lincecum was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 48th round (1,408th overall) of the 2003 MLB Draft, but did not sign.<sup id="cite_ref-03_draft_7-0" class="reference">[8]</sup> He decided to attend college instead, and was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 42nd round (1,261st overall) upon re-entering the draft in 2005, but once again failed to sign

Just about every team as a player that got away.

The Mets traded Kazmir for that BUM Victor Zambrano. Kaz stays with the Mets, they don't have to overpay Santana.

At least the O's have had home grown LEGENDS on their team. The Mets have Tom Seaver and that is it...

What TB has done in recent years is amazing. Dukes is looking like he's going to be a very good player as well. he had an OPS over .930 in the last 30 days before his injury. hes still a baby.

Dukes' mother actually had the gall to get on the radio one mid-morning and defend her son by calling all the women he has knocked up, "whores". Her poor son didn't do nothin' wrong...
