Apparently there are a number of large scale research studies underway to assess the long term health impacts of COVID 19 including one in Canada that will be looking at cognitive impacts among other things. The reasons these studies are underway in many major countries is that the medical community has observed first hand the significant numbers of serious and long lasting health impairments from COVID 19.
These "long" Covid damages have the potential to be a significant ongoing threat to health and to place a financial burden on health care systems (not to mention the quality of life issues faced by those effected)
Those who continue to claim that the "flu" is a more serious threat to one's health will be faced with some very real data showing how false of a claim that has always been.
But of course being the delusional "whack jobs" (an accepted medical term) that they are - their denials and deflections and excuses will continue.
