I live in NYC. The vast majority of NYC, no, parking is not more than Las Vegas. If you're talking midtown Manhattan, then yes, parking is more expensive there than Vegas. However, midtown Manhattan has a lot more going on than the Vegas strip, where you're paying parking fees for the privilege of losing your money to the house.

Casinos/racetracks should not charge for parking. The takeout is absurd enough as it is without tacking on fees to turn away customers.

I wasn't talking west side.... midtown 2-3 times more than vegas. I know the rates

Only "good" thing about this is this - they don't charge for parking and that can save a lot. I'd rather pay $45 w/free parking than $39 and have to pay? NO!

Also, the Palazzo and the Venetian don't charge guests or visitors to park. Overnight parking fees at other Vegas resorts can add as much as $30 a day to the cost of a room.

mgm valet was terrible 20 years ago and has only gotten worse, 30 min wait, even if u grease them still 15 min wait. and they hve bad attitude. if I must go there I always park at motel 6 or hooters
