The Reds trade Jonathan India to the Royals for Brady Singer, love the trade for Cincinnati, India is a good player and good clubhouse guy, he was well liked by his teammates and will be a good fit for KC, but the Reds really needed to get a starting pitcher, they certainly weren't going after the likes of Buehler, Fried, or Burnes, so the only way to improve their rotation was via trade, Singer and Hunter Greene will now be their 1/2 punch, along with Nick Martinez, Nick Lodolo, Graham Ashcraft, Andrew Abbott, and Rhett Lowder they have a solid, if not spectacular rotation, Matt McClain missed all of last season due to injury, with Elly playing short, McClain can slide over to second base and replace India, arms like Singer's don't hit the market too often, and while I like India, he's replaceable, Singer is young and just coming into his own, not to sound corny, but IMO the Reds front office hit a HR with this deal, the Central is wide open, no Braves, Phillies or Mets, no Dodgers or Padres to deal with, no reason why the Reds can't win a very winnable division, I also love the hire of Francona, and if Elly can cut down on his K's and take his game to the next level, and things fall into place, this team could be a dark horse next year

Quality pick up for once. Guy was unhittable with Stros. Let's see if Kyle Hendricks can find the fountain of youth too.
IDK- He’s gunna be 34 in June, and has been mediocre his entire career. Maybe he found something in Houston latter part of the year, but 3 and 63, no thanks.

Blake Snell to the Dodgers.
That’s gunna be a 5 year headache. I was praying the Red Sox wouldn’t give him that deal. He averages missing 10 starts a year, and has never pitched over 180 innings in a season. Get your relievers up in the 4th inning. As he appoaches his mid 30’s I can see many stint’s on the D.L. for this guy.

Absolutely. Yes, when Snell is in a groove, he's unhittable. But this seems to be a 1 in three years phenomenon. Most years, he walks too many hitters. But the problem with these giant strikeout starting pitchers is too many full counts, too many foul balls, too many pitches, and too much stress on the bullpen. Love high strikeout guys in the bullpen, but for starters,,,nobody on base, why not take a 2-3 pitch contact out over a 9 pitch strikeout?

Ohtani
Snell
Kershaw
Glasnow
Yamamoto

Of course a few of them are coming back from injury, but on paper that's the best rotation in baseball, paired with that lineup, GL beating them next year

Kershaw even if fully healthy will breakdown. He's done. 88mph fastballs are little league.
I wouldn't give up on Kershaw just yet, and even if you're right, they still have Dustin May coming back and they might end up with Rosaki, either way their rotation is loaded

Talented but the training staff will earn their money. I suspect Buehler still makes 25 starts (if he's still under contract with the LAD).

I do not believe Dodgers want Sasaki. With Othani and Yamamoto in hand, another high profile player from Japan is not there best crowd pleaser.

The Dodgers currently have 12 players under contract making more than 100M, that's the most in the history of the sport, and they're probably not done, Edman a utility guy making more than any player on the Marlins
