NFL TV Markets on Sundays

Why over the last few years TV Markets no longer suppressed to show teams on the road based on the channel carried? Seems like back in the day NFC road teams were show all the time on Fox and AFC represented CBS. Do they just now balance it out randomly?

A few AFC games are on Fox now to kind of balance the TV schedules between Fox and CBS. Of course that equates to getting more money from CBS. The AFC has smaller markets, which doesn't help CBS.
