I heard some rumors about a kinda funny Swedish betting coup. Very few Scandinavian oriented Bookies have linesmakers for all the local sports. The trade secret is to copy whoever does the homework properly.
The Linesmaker at Bookie A got bored with being copied and posted a very skewed line..... soon to be copied by other firms! However Bookie A lowered the limit to below peanut levels (my lifetime chance to bet the limit sadly missed) which the other books didnt notice.
At the same time Bookie A and his friends started to do some heavy moneyline investments with the copying books.
When the fat lady sang a moneyline favourite in the "-500" range had lost with some 20 points and created a healthy dose of happiness for "you-know-who" & friends.
