does anyone recall guys playing the Ryder Cup in Europe and returning the next week to play on the PGA tour? seems kinda ridiculous for him to be playing this week .. made a couple small plays fading Phil in matchups

I guess he's trying to regain his form? Who are we to rip a guy for playing a tourney, I thought it was usually the other way around?

......wondered myself about Phil playing this week,... stayed away from him on Draftkings.

....maybe he is wanting to keep his form up for match vs Tiger?,..

...currently Phil is -1 through seven holes of first round.

last week it was abt driving accuracy, phil is 170 th of 171 golfers, its about horses for courses. just like tiger will never do well at the Riveria in LA.

its a 150 and in course so no surprise phil is top 3 and Freddie doing well. Silverado CC, Freddie played it a few times on sr, now its on pga

I like his chances of a top ten better now than I did going in to round 3.

He always seems to back door a high finish.

Could have easily shot 67 or 68 yesterday.
