Are there any world-class A-1 Sportsbooks offering WSOP Main Event Odds besides the still obviously "World's Premier Sportsbook" in Pinny?

my guess is the closer we get to the ME - more books will have lines

And you were saying fellas...

The main event starts Friday, it is apparent that Pinny is the only SB competent and ballsy enough to hang quality numbers, as Bodog with short cr@ppy 2 to 5 way props offered for a dollar is the only other option I've found.

Last year Allen Cunningham finished in the Top 10, thus bailing me back to even from a dime plus outlay on all my to win tickets at Pinny. You would think SB's wouldn't fear offering Pinny's WSOP odds, but it appears Henry is still the King..only one offering viable numbers.

Greek, CRIS,etc..have dropped the ball this year!

Betting on the winner is like betting on 4 number lotto. Betting on them making the final table is like 3 number lotto. Why do it?

seems like every single book would offer odds on it then....why don't they do it ?

too much work ?

My hunch is fears of volume issues vs. fears of the year that an Ivey/Negreanu/etc..wins, or a Final Table Full of Famous Pros that hit for fat payouts.

Either way, any answer is sheer cr@p when they still bother to always offer Tour De France, Snookers, Darts, American Idol,etc..Odds.

A good book would just say pick whoever you want, we'll give you 2000 to 1 to win it all or 200 to 1 to make the final 10. Huge margin for them and its a great way to get guys to bet on themselves if they are going to enter. If at least 6000 enter there isn't a player in the world who is an overlay at that price. Limit the bets to $10 each if you need to be careful.

WB, I totally agree, and Henry/Pinny has always given moderately fair WSOP Win Odds and for Final 10..you'd think Spiro, Mickey,etc..would do the same?..or just shade down off slightly fatter Pinny offerings.

I loved watching the Finals last year without being able to see the cards..Phil Gordon's commentary was great..Matusow and Raymer's side bets were hilarious.

Will be watching all coverage offered.

You have to pay for it, $20, to get it live. Although there were some pirate feeds showing up online in the past, I listened to one last year. You have to be a pretty involved player to really enjoy it because much of it is like the second round of the NBA draft. All these guys sitting around and talking very little about the table itself because very little action is happening. When they finally see some action they stop the conversation and cover the hand. To make it interesting they were doing roshambo bets for hundreds of dollars with all the players who stopped by to chat, pocket change to these boys.

ESPN owns all WSOP rights, they from what I've seen in person at the Rio the last two years, is tape bits and pieces and a feature table, then all final tables.

Last year some poster at TheRx put up a mirror site link for free, and we had a thread discussing the Final Table all night long..I was riding to Houston with a friend that Friday morning..slept like one hour.

ESPN offers PPV coverage I believe..or will?
