Re: Sagarin MLB

10 of the Top 12 in the AL?

Interesting.

Only the Cubs (1) and Nats (5) made the Top 12 from NL.

The Tigers (11) are rated higher than every NL team (except the Cubs and Nats).

Not sure what Sagarin takes into account for baseball, but safe to say it's a useless metric if the Angels are 12th.

In his football and basketball numbers, strength of schedule was always significant. And in MLB, where there's an absurd amount of divisional play, a division that he perceives as strong (AL East) will only become stronger as they constantly play each other. His gap between the NL and AL is huge; kind of like the NBA West and East.
