Agreed. That was some atrocious video. No numbers and the camera was a long way off.
Basically couldn't see where each horse was, so had to rely on Collmus to tell me what was happening.
Trying to hit four exactas, but like with Del Mar, got the winner but not the horse underneath.

Always the risk of singling first timers.... I did wish I found a way to put my 2nd selection in that race in there...great price on the 6... just not a big fan of Santana.

five races
all five I had the correct horse on top and did not have the second place finisher (the wager they rejected would've been my first exacta win of the day, I was trying to do 4-7, the winning combo. Naturally my luck).

There were 10 races and 92 betting interests on both opening-day cards.Paid attendance on Friday was 33,714, a 3 percent increase over the 32,730 paid attendance figure from 2017.

2nd race- trying to beat the chad brown fts.. like the 4 and 9. Weaver always has first timers ready and the 4 has Ortiz with Mott on the grass with a nice recent workout. Should be a nice price too..
3rd race- awesome slew is obviously the class of the race, but I think the pace is going to be a little too slow for him to close. I’m on the #7... should be on or near the lead on a slow pace.. and I think he’ll actually like 7 furlongs given how great he looked in extending his lead at 6.5 in December. Won’t get too much pressure up front either.. the 2 and the 5 will be with him, but neither are that fast for this distance.

4th race- my gut says windjammer will be able to hold on today... it all matters how much will irad push shamrock babe? If I’m looking elsewhere, I think the 4 could win at a price coming form behind. In his first start in the states, he had a bad trip and stumbled out of the gate, and only finished 7 behind in a ridiculously slow race
50 1/2 in a mile race)..definitelygonna throw him in the exotics and should get a good price.
Race 5- hate this race.. kind of at a loss, so I will go with a price horse... #5 Shanghai glory. Irad at double digits at Saratoga... Englehart is a winning trainer on 2nd after claim (+0.62) and turf to dirt (+0.29).. the pace setup is a mess too as there are no closers

No Dozing getting up over the 5 and 3 in the 3rd race cost me a big pick 5, and the pick 4. That one hurt as the 5 ran a hell of a race
