Tampa Bay/Baltimore over 4.5 -115:
Two teams playing out the second half nowhere near contention feature Tampa Bay (53-52) at Baltimore (31-74) completing a 4 game series this afternoon. The Orioles lead the series 2-1 and will look to capture a rare series win this afternoon at Camden Yards. Last night Trey Mancini homered and went 4 for 4 with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored, Joey Rickard also homered and went 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored and 5 RBI and Caleb Joseph went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI as the Orioles trounced the Tampa Rays 11-2. The 15 hit attack for the O's was more than enough support for Kevin Gausman (5-8) who scattered 2 runs and 9 hits over 7 innings walking 2 and striking out 5. Ryne Stanek (1-3) lasted just 2 innings and gave up 3 runs on 2 hits while Jalen Beeks did not fare any better in relief allowing 8 runs on 10 hits over the middle 3 innings.

Dylan Bundy (6-9 4.57) takes the baseball this afternoon for the O's who has yielded 5 earned runs over each of his last 3 outings. Against Toronto he recorded a no-decision allowing 5 earned on 5 hits through 5 innings walking one and striking out 3 in a game the Blue Jays wound up winning 8-7. Bundy faces a Rays lineup hitting .255 overall averaging about 4.1 runs per contest with 96 HR, 13th in the AL. CJ Cron (.250 20 51) leads the Rays in HR and is second in RBI but is battling through a 4 for 24 slump (.167) over the last week. Wilson Ramos (.297 14 53) is second in batting and tops in RBI hitting safely over his last 6 games (.400). Matt Duffy (.301 4 28) leads the team in hitting but since returning to the lineup with back spasms is just 2 for his last 21 (.095). Joey Wendle (.285 5 30) brings in a modest 4 game hitting streak (.429). Mallex Smith (.282 1 24) is the speedster of the team with 18 stolen bases in 26 attempts (69%) and hitting safely in 7 of his last 9 (.300).

Yonny Chinros (0-2 3.78) counters for Tampa Bay making just his 8th overall start. The 24 year old rookie from Venezuela will be looking for his first win this season missing significant time due to forearm and shoulder injuries. Chirnos lost his last start to the Yankees 4-0 in which he surrendered 3 runs on 6 hits through 6 2/3 innings walking one and striking out 6. He faces an Orioles lineup batting just .233 overall averaging just 3.8 runs per contest 8th in the AL with 125 HR. Adam Jones (.281 11 43) has been the subject of trade rumors since Baltimore shipped Manny Machado to LA. Jones has definitely upped his trade value currently hitting safely over his last 8 games (.375). Jonathan Schoop (.244 16 37) just saw a streak end homering in 5 consecutive games but continues his current hitting streak now at 11 games (.360). Mancini (.229 13 29) has hit in 3 straight (.545) including yesterday's 4 hit barrage that has the O's scoring in double digits over consecutive games. Mark Trumbo (.253 12 29) has hit safely in 5 of his last 6 games (.325), and Danny Valencia (.268 9 28) brings in a 6 game hitting streak (.417) into this afternoon's action.

We get a reasonable price this afternoon on an ideal summer afternoon at Camden Yards, a hitter's delight especially with a couple of teams beating up on each other over the past 3 days. The Rays are just looking to split the series while Baltimore is attempting to win just their 6th all season which doesn't say much sporting the worst record in all of baseball. Chinros will look for a quality start as well as his first win while Bundy will look to shake some recent misfortunes. Both teams may still not be done dealing as there are still a few days left before the trading deadline commences. Best of luck however you play!

Re: SUNDAY FIRST 5 INNINGS PLAY (YTD 14-11)

An RBI single by Adam Jones cashes this one easily in the bottom of the 2nd. Thanks and congrats to all that followed!
