This past Sunday evening, I saw the Eagles at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Deacon Frey replaced his father Glenn in the band. Deacon looks like the 1970s version of Glenn, and sounds exactly like him. They also added Vince Gill. Their 23 song set lasted about 2 hours and 45 minutes, and they sounded terrific, still radio quality. For 71 and 70 years of age respectively, Don Henley and Joe Walsh still haven't missed a beat. One of my all time favorite songs is Hotel California. Here is a video I made from the show:

I just hope it is not another one of those beating the closer line losers

Saw Joe Walsh open for Tom Petty at Red Rocks a few months before Petty died.

Both were great.
