Some head to Las Vegas for just one thing, the slots and the blackjack, which makes Sin City the gambling capital of the world. From glamor and showy displays of wealth, to seedy sidewalks and broken down losers, Las Vegas has it all. If you manage to drag yourself out of the casinos then Las Vegas has other things to offer apart from the poker. It?s a great town for guys with lots to cram into a break there.
1) Visit the fantastic auto collection inside the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino which has 300 classic cars to be seen every day. Those who get lucky on the tables can head there and buy, whilst the losers just drool at some of the greatest autos including one owned by Howard Hughes.
2) Cruise the Strip, 4 miles of Las Vegas Boulevard featuring entertainment, lights, dazzle and flash. You can do it in style in a limo.
3) Even better style would be taking a helicopter ride above the Strip and looking down on it all at night when the lights are bright.
4) Take in a show at one of the glitzy joints. You can see Cher at Caesars Palace if she?s there when you?re there, and there is always some show to appeal to whatever direction your tastes run to.
5) Just 3 miles from the Strip is the must see Atomic Testing Museum which combines science with history. It immortalises the Nevado nuclear test site located in the desert. The juxtaposition of the atomic site with the glitz of Vegas makes it a must.
6) Vegas is far more than just the lights and the glam with the desert on the doorway. Take a jeep and explore the amazing desert around Death Valley.
7) There?s no point in hitting Vegas without hitting the casinos and having a flutter and even those who don?t gamble will want to take in the opulence of the iconic Bellagio. Caesar?s Palace has the Roman touch and the Luxor offers Egyptian elegance.
8) It?s tacky, it's rash, it?s flash, but who can?t resist getting married in Vegas? Why not throw caution to the wild and head to the Graceland Chapel for a quick exchange of rings.
9) If you?ve just done the wedding you?ll need a hotel room to celebrate in and Las Vegas has rooms by the yard offering all kinds of luxury.
