I missed 60/1 after his first start and 40/1 after his second start (Wynn Las Vegas) on Justify to win the Triple Crown.

Absolutely horrible for the game. It needs longetivity and horses the general public can cheer for over time. When the good horses get retired after 1 year, it sucks.

Actually less than 1 year. Justify started racing on February 18th and was done by mid June. 4 months.

Whole thing was seedy from the start
Horse was cheated of what could have been. When your in the Baffert barn it always doesn't last long.

Would be like if Michael Jordan had won the title at UNC and then retired. It’s the biggest problem with the sport and the #1 reason it struggles to grow.

One thing is for sure, he'll continue a sire line that's notorious for getting runners that don't finish out their 3yo campaigns. He didn't do it. His sire didn't do it. His grandsire didn't do it and his great grand sire didn't do it either. Sounds like a broken record.
