I think Tua has progressed as the season has moved along. He really needs to avoid injuries though.

There were a couple of times today when he got down instead of taking a big hit, he's too small framed to take big shots like other QB's who are bigger and more physical than him

Imo this is a sharp point. Back in his MVP season, when no one was allowed to criticize Cam Newton because that would be racist, I had two criticisms of him, the biggest being that he was constantly trying to run over middle linebackers. He’s a big guy, he could get away doing that short term, but there’s a huge risk of RG3 syndrome, and that’s exactly what happened.
In the same vein there’s a ‘Tom Brady Suspension’ syndrome: the four games he missed at the start of that season turned out to be a strong positive for the patriots. He missed four games of wear and tear, they made the playoffs and he was relatively fresh for the playoffs and they won the Super Bowl.
It’s even more important now in a dangerously long 17 game season.
So imo it’s very smart for him to minimize any contact. Especially with his size and injury history

You have to wonder about their coach. This is the second time they let CMC back in the game after getting dinged up pretty good, only to make it worse. Time to double-down on how bad Newton is.

When u REALLY needed to gain 3 yards in a game winning situation, you could always rely on CMC picking up a couple yards for you

His pass on the 2 point conversion attempt was something to behold, any high school QB anywhere in the country makes that throw, most NFL QB's make that throw with their eyes closed
