USC's Leinart Retakes Heisman Poll Lead

Southern California quarterback Matt Leinart moved past teammate Reggie Bush to take over first place in latest USA TODAY Heisman poll.
Bidding to become the second player to win back-to-back Heismans, Leinart received the five first-place votes and 41 points. The senior has thrown for 3,017 yards and 23 touchdowns for the unbeaten and top-ranked Trojans.
Bush, last week's leader, is joined in second place by Texas quarterback Vince Young at 39 points. Bush grabbed two first-place votes, while Young earned the remaining three.
Brady Quinn kept his stranglehold on fourth place. The Notre Dame signal caller tossed four touchdowns against Navy to improve his stock with voters. He has 17 points, including one third-place votes.
Memphis running back DeAngelo Williams grabbed fifth place with four points followed by the trio of UCLA's Drew Olson and Penn State teammates Paul Posluszny and Michael Robinson, who are in sixth with two points apiece.
UCLA's Maurice Drew, Louisville's Elvis Dumervil, Bowling Green's Omar Jacobs and Ohio State's A.J. Hawk each received one point.
