What is wrong with my life?

drive there was surprisingly tough and trafficky much more than I expected.

conditions were as expected. blackjack has an ante and is a waste of time.

some good video poker but progressives werent high enough.

less smoky than I was led to believe. pigarette smokers are revolting.

It can be a good idea to look at machines credits if not doing anything else as you walk thru a casino, picked that up at some point in Las Vegas

Joined the slot club and while looking for the good poker, happened to see a $1 machine with 525 credits on it. No one there, no one around on nearby machines. Put a $20 in played a few hands and cashed out.

Played enough elsewhere to get the new player $25 bonus and won about $85 there with a wild royal flush.

Didnt play poker, some other time. Overall won about $600 without even gambling. It is a good idea to pay attention in a casino

I liked the story years ago I heard of a guy who found a $5000 Binions chip on the floor in the Bellagio. He figured no way they will cash it, this wasnt enough years ago when Binions was still a real casino, but he had to try and they did cash it no questions asked...

From the hints in your post, my initial guess is you were at the WinStar near Oklahoma City.

I was shocked at the number of casinos in Oklahoma.

Most of them make the Longhorn Casino on Boulder Highway look like Wynn Las Vegas.

Oklahoma makes North Las Vegas look like Manhattan. Most boring state I've ever been in luckily I was only driving through.

FYI, my rpts are that Ante is mandatory at some casinos. At other casinos, the ante is:

* Waived w/ players-card, or
* Waived on bets $20+.

I know when I cashed in a 5000 chip, they went in the back room and I had to wait for about 5 minutes. Don’t know what they were checking but they about to shit when I cashed in another one the next day.

I just sit at home these days and play my mobile betting apps.

retirement in your early 50s is a good thing.
