Rickie Weeks will see a specialist after injuring his left wrist during Sunday's game.

Weeks has had right wrist problems in the past, and he'll see the same doctor that operated on him at the end of 2006. If he lands on the DL, the Brewers figure to go to Craig Counsell as their primary second baseman and call up Hernan Iribarren as a backup. Mat Gamel to third and Bill Hall to second would be too much of a downgrade defensively, and Alcides Escobar isn't doing much offensively in Triple-A.

Let me help you out with one thing though, citing someones record is as useless as anything in the world. A guys w/l record means absolutely nothing. Not even a little tiny bit.

in detwilers last 10 IP he has 16Ks, 7HA, and 1 Er. Those are things he controls. He is a hard throwing lefty. he isn't likely ready right now, but hes got better stuff than cecil with tor who has done decently after posting an era over 10.00 in the minors before getting called up. Aside from that, hes on a home team, i'll role the dice with a home town guy. If he gets -40, so what, ive won with guys getting -30+ before.

Yeah, Hill's a good player. I actually came close to moving Utley a few times to strengthen other spots because Hill could take over at 2B. I'd been starting both the last few weeks, but one was expendable. Victo will be a nice addition to my OF. I don't like Nelson Cruz this week with all games on the road. Was actually going to use Tatis for the week before the trade. And now I can get Nick Johnson in the lineup at DH. Guy's an on base machine.

yeah kershaw just gives a solid arm to play vs nice matchups. like i'd personally start him over beck on a week where he is vs az and beck is vs tb, tor or nyy.
