I will bet Gulfstream tomorrow. It seems like whenever I watch Oaklawn, its sloppy. Betting Oaklawn is akin to taking a scissors and just cutting up dollar bills.

I mostly just look for confident cappers on the forums to tail or bet hunches

If I don't have zoom meetings going on I get good tips from listening to this livestream capping show. Lots of sharp guys contribute

let me know if you find anything you like. I see a lot of people liking

#4 Jades Gelly in Gulstream R 8

Totally agree with you, Valuist, about Oaklawn. I like reading Kevin Cox’s picks, he swings for the fences. I like when we agree on a bomb.

I know nothing about horses but have dabbled a bit the last few weeks.

I welcome and value any opinions for today’s cards

Forecast for Hallandale Beach says 90% chance of thunderstorms. That will likely keep me off Gulfstream. Tampa about 40% chance of rain.

I'm a lifetime horseplayer.

But frankly, I've enjoyed a break from the ponies.

Eager to see live horse racing action when the country re-opens.

Great time to reorganize the sport and make the presentation more palatable.

Maybe two simulcast feeds, A and B, splitting up the major tracks and minor tracks based on parimutuel handle.

Just a thought.

I'd love to see a race every 5 or 10 minutes.

Nothing worse than two or three races being contested simultaneously.

Horse racing needs an air traffic controller.

Couldn’t agree more JK-excellent suggestion

Day was a legend.

I remember spending some time at Oaklawn many years ago. Mike Smith, Calvin Borel and Garrett Gomez were well back in rider standings behind Day.

I attended the 1992 Kentucky Derby when Pat Day scored at odds of 16/1 aboard Lil E. Tee ($35.60).

Broke an 0-for-9 career record for Day in the Derby, a jock who dominated racing meets in the Midwest.

Lil E. Tee died in 2009.

Trainer Lynn Whiting died in 2017.

Pat Day is still alive at age 66.

Don't tell anyone but I landed on Arazi at odds of 9/10 after A.P. Indy was scratched the morning of the race.

Before the race, The New York Times labeled Arazi "magical and mythical."

The start of fake news?

I just looked at the past performance lines of Lil E. Tee.

He had never closed at odds of higher than 9/2 in any of his eight starts prior to the 1992 Kentucky Derby.

In the 1992 Arkansas Derby, Pine Bluff was 4/5 and Lil E. Tee was 2/1 when they finished 1-2 respectively in Oaklawn's most prestigious race.

got incredibly luck the last two days hitting ridiculous tris and superfectas ( I don't play many of those)

just taking some random picks from a few of the experts on the youtube show I watch.

3 straight days winning total.

total beginners luck. I'll prob never experience those highs again, and I'm addicted for life.

just great

Arazi was typical overhype. As great as he looked in the Breeders Cup Juvenile, he only made one start as a 3 YO before the Derby. If I remember correctly, it was a 5 horse field vs allowance level horses on grass in France. He got nothing out of the race. Now every trainer undertrains their horses but back then, if you didn't have at least 3 preps, you weren't sharp enough to get it done in the Derby. Always fade hype.

Always fade hype, no doubt.

Arazi's trainer (Francois Boutin) ridiculed the media after the Kentucky Derby for declaring his horse a "super horse."

I was at the Stardust the day Arazi blew past Bertrando in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Churchill Downs in 1991.

if you see some matchups where you think the off odds will be reversed over the matachups let me know or in the case of a near pick em a horse that will take more money. sometimes those can be overlays even with the 30 cent lines.
