I think there are a lot of GREAT posters here. Several would be good moderators like GreenDoberman, Lawrence, Hache Man, RPM, coconutman, Jimmy Hoffa, just to name a few. It would be a tough choice for General. :+clueless

Only thing I try to moderate is my vices, and I failure there constantly. Surely there must be someone more qualified. A prefect. A moderator here must be dedicated to the site, tolerate garbage, babysit and kiss the King's arse. FROG jumps where and when he wants, not when The SHRINK claps his hands. I will stay an independent. Want is good, Green Dob is good. Someone fresh to the position. They are both respected and objective. That counts for something in my book.

He is level-headed and fair. The site would be well represented by him.

In my unqualified opinion I think Green Doberman would add alot to the forum. In addition I know that he is a hard working guy and knows the casino business would be an asset if he had time.

Moderators are like the crossing guards of the message board. We keep members within the ?crosswalk? so that the board can fulfill its purpose. In some cases, the purpose of the board requires tight scrutiny. Generally, moderators have a 3fold responsibility: To ensure members are following rules, to assist members, and foster lively discussion. A good moderator will ensure that his/her forum is inviting, active, and an asset to the community as a whole. It is best to present a consistent, united, moderation Team to the community.

Qualifying comes with recommendation from others who see some common courtesy and good posting or knowledge, making him or her an asset to the team, fullfilling the purpose of the board.
