I'm waiting for +6 but planning on taking Phoenix today.

After today, I'm starting to think Fever have a shot to win this thing. A lot depends on which Boston shows up in playoffs. Guards can't keep carrying this team.
 
They are playing incredibly well.

CC reminds me more of Bird (Larry, not Sue) every time I see her. It's a different kind of GREATNESS.

They play at a high level but more importantly they make everyone else on the team better.

Them two for sure share that common trait.
 
The old story in Boston Gardens, reporters watching the Celtics.....

McHale, Parrish, Ainge and DJ hit the court, one guy says "that's 4 pretty good players out there".

Bird jogs out a few minutes later and another guy says "now we got 5 great one's out there".

Some guys have great individual skills but they don't really elevate the other guys (sit down Brick).

Come playoff time, Fever coach Sides will get exposed for the pathetic coach she is. Fever will get crushed against a Top seed.

CC with a triple double tonight, not only should she win the award, but it should be unanimous, anyone not voting for her should have their voting privileges revoked, BTW, like Portnoy, I also have a Fever future at 100/1, my bet is just slightly less than his though

CC should be awarded the coach of the month award too.

Christie was too stupid in the beginning to know what a generational talent she had but telling her not to shoot and to run the offense.

Hopefully this doesn't lead to something moronic like a contract extention

That is why I played it. I think the books thought she would play a full game - hence the total
 
I played the Fever +7, last game they shot 40% from the field and 21% from three, have to think those numbers improve, meanwhile the Sun shot 49% from the field and 50% from three, have to think those numbers drop, now that CC got her first playoff game jitters out of the way, I think she plays a little more relaxed and has a much better game

I have Sun +135 to sweep the Fever so nothing for me in this game since I essentially have them +135 in this game instead of around -400

Wow I didn't realize that's how I won my bet, I saw it was a one point game with under a minute, then saw the final, Kelsey Mitchell now my second favorite player in the league, LOL

This league loves to wave the white flag down 5 with 30 seconds left

I'm surprised nobody is talking about the phantom foul on Lynx putting NY Stewart on the line to put the game in OT and ultimately giving the championship to New York.

Moreover, Stewart took four steps without dribbling before said foul.

Lastly, talk about wanting the chip in New York.... Commissioner when presenting the trophy wore a dress with the New York skyline on it.

The foul was pretty ticky tack, but the bigger miss was the obvious travel, at least NY will have one basketball championship to celebrate
 
It's to the point that a memo was sent out to the refs regarding traveling because they're woman.

Unless it's blatant seldom see a traveling call.

Aja Wilson shuffles her feet all the time underneath for a better look. Never called. However, I can see with the frequency of traveling it would hurt the flow of the game.

Breanna Stewart's was blatant but they swallowed their whistle because of the situation.

The biggest crime is the players union opting out of their current deal after the league announced a $40m loss.

They can't get it through their heads if they wanna fly charter that's a bigger cost.
Better hotels
Better meals
Better everything costs more

26 years and this is their highest attended season by fans and they still lost $40m
 
Indiana Fever HC Sides is gone....I am a little surprised. They really got it going 2H of the season.

I'm sure they got Caitlin's input and others that matter before letting her go. Consensus, not a good coach.

They made a run despite her
And it drove me nuts when announcers talked about her being a good coach.

I will admit she did run some very nice offensive sets but that could be the assistant too
