Would the Cubs win 60 games if they were in the AL East?

What's bad about losing to the blO's is their best player is the analyst, Jim Palmer.

Let's just say Dempster would have nowhere close to 9 wins and wouldn't sniff the top 5 in ERA and WHIP, Ted Lilly would have allowed 25+ HRs, Jason Marquis would have an ERA approaching 7.00 and Kerry Wood's job would have been taken away six weeks ago. Other than that they'd be fine, a very solid fourth place team.

yes they would. maybe not exactly sixty games but at least sixty my mathematical model says. i would take that bet. of course if there were lots of rainouts that would change things. if you ask 5 star guy he will tell you they would win 150. of course he or she may be a little biased.

And the Cubs lead all of baseball with their offense. Not bad when you are batting a pitcher every 9th batter.
