More like helmet to neck, but apparently that's targeting as well. Once you make the neck eligible for targeting, helmet to upper chest and helmet to shoulder can get called as well. Too much ambiguity.

It's absolutely the correct call, if you watch the replay and stop it as soon as the defender makes contact high on the QB, you can clearly see him getting hit in the neck with the crown of the helmet, the refs will call that targeting every time, I also had Illinois

I agree it's the correct call as well, but needless to say I have to admit, I've seen some close calls with the crown of the helmet in slowmo missing the helmet going to the neck or shoulder I have seen my share of targeting not called in those situation, and even in real time speed.
