  • Healthcare facilities will soon be able to resume elective surgeries.
  • Will allow gyms, cosmetologists, massage therapists, fitness centers, bowling alleys, and other indoor facilities to take care of administrative items while the rest of the state is under shelter in place. They will be permitted to open on Friday, April 24th for minimum basic operations.
    • Local action cannot be taken that is more or less restrictive with regard to these reopenings, Kemp said.
    • Not opening for business as usual, but under certain restrictions, including social distancing requirements.
  • Theaters, restaurants, and private social clubs will be permitted to open on Monday, April 27th for minimum basic operations
  • Bars, clubs, and amusement parks will remain closed

ATLANTA — Residents of Georgia will be allowed on Friday to return to the gym and get haircuts, pedicures, massages and tattoos. Next Monday, they can dine again in restaurants and go to the movies.
