Got beat by a horrific Toronto lineup although to his credit he threw fairly well. Just no knack whatsoever how to win, aside from having good offense behind him. Walks guys, cannot prevent stolen bases. All the intangibles you want to have to be a winner he is a mental midget. Kind of like Rail.

5th straight win for the best pitcher on the best team in baseball. Artie was a dumbshit not getting this guy, he would have if he was a hispanic. Yu is doing better this year in MLB than he did last yr with the Ham fighters in the Japan leauge. Japanese hitters are more discipline.

With a guy like him it can obviously take a while to get used to different baseballs and culture. Making big strides very quickly. Very good looking slider command tonight. Started to figure things out near the end of the season last year. He was taken in top 6 pitchers in fantasy baseball this year in big money leagues.

From a betting standpoint he's over-valued for the simple reason he can't get lefties out. Tonight's
only hit from the left side. If you're laying -200 on a regular basis with a guy he should be equally
adept at getting hitters out from both sides of the plate.

He was pitching against a glorified AAA team. Houston swung at something like 47 pitches outside the strike zone. Lets see how he does Sunday night against Weaver?

i think point is a lot of people doubted he could do it in mlb and are way too quick to judge imports. Japan game and season is very different and there was certainly an adjustment period. It was clear from the beginning though he had the talent to be one of the very best in baseball, just had to gain some better control

He was 6-0 to start the season last yr, he was best pitcher in baseball coming into last yr, then he went into a slump when he got a blister on his finger. No adjustment period, no scumbag american like mike maddux made him any better. The espn jews would not put him on prime time last yr.
