Hey, now, those are good movies!

What about you? You know, when you're flipping channels there are always certain movies that you've seen before, but you always stop on them and watch them again ...

For whatever reason, and i don't know why it is, i am ashamed to admit that i have seen Cocktail 100 times...You have a young Elizabeth Shoe, Jamaica, Couglin's Laws, alcohol...i just get suckered into it evertime it's on...

Saving Private Ryan
Animal House
Caddyshack
Casablanca
Pulp Fiction
Goodfellas

By looking at the list, I realize I've aged myself (or maybe "they just don't make movies like they used to").

In a previous life, it inspired me and my coworkers to develop our (showtime) game a little more. . .But any bartender who spilled so much liquor as they did in the movie would have been fired at most of my gigs. . .

To Kill a Mockingbird and Twelve Angry Men are two of my faves also - classics! :cheers

Top Gun!! Love that one!
And The Notebook, while an excellent movie, was an even better book - I read it like four times and cried every time!

I limited to ten, as SG did. I could have gone to twenty; many of the movies others have listed would make the cut. . .

For example: I didn't list any Jack Nicholson movies; he's got at least four that I will stop down and watch no matter what's going on. . .

Agreed. There have been a lot of awesome movies mentioned so far. Some of the movie I watch over and over are not all that awesome, they are mindless entertainment that I can't help watching when I see it is on!

shawshank was a helluva movie. requiem & there will be blood were definitely quality films.

With ol blue eyes, there are many who wanted to. Had one of the best voices - ever. His phrasing was flawless. And he made some pretty decent movies, too - didn't he win and Oscar for something?

But, yeah, Clooney's Ocean's 11 - I've seen it at least 7-8 times ... I loved it! 91023i2ndw;l

Not a fan of Lynch's stuff myself, but Blue Velvet is saved by Dennis Hopper's lip sync of Roy Orbison. . .The weirdest shit you could ever want--but it worked. . .
