c'mon, no way you can argue verlander is better than lee. both got rocked today, but lee was even a bit better. lee also pitched @ texas. one of the toughest places to pitch against a scary lineup. verlander pitched vs a jays team that scored one of the lowest amount of runs last year. they are an improved lineup as i've said, but not near texas' caliber.
verlander can just throw the ball fast. he was terrible last year and won't be good this year. just because he can throw 97 MPH doesn't make him good. just means it will get hit harder when guys make contact. lee actually places his pitches incredibly well.
do i think lee will be close to last years performance? no, but he is still very solid and much better than verlander.

why, are those guys all bad? Lee had a great year after a terrible year. He had an awful spring and an awful day today.

2 years ago lee was as bad as anyone. lee was awful in every start this spring. I wouldnt trade verlander to get lee if it was offered.
And no, it doesnt mean it will just get hit harder, his ha/ip ratio was very good last year. you dont make sense there buddy.

Na, Garza and Kaz are my best two pitchers no matter what verlander does. Carp may end up being my best but ive looked at verlander as my #4 since i got him.
