problem though is I would probably take Happ over both those depth guys and I just dealt him so obviously i feel i have more pressing needs than that kind of depth.

Garza is a guy id love to have for depth. someone that is a great option for 2 steps..

Getting rid of JJ weakens my depth really because it means I need to find 3 guys to start each week with good matchups instead of just 2

Says the guy who wanted to trade Ichiro for Konerko straight up LOL - 11 round difference, no big deal. At least my offer was a semi-keeper, and two young guys with a ton of upside for an injury prone pitcher. I thought tripp wanted to move JJ, that's why I offered what I did and I still don't think it's a terrible offer. 3 pitchers for 1 in this league is a lot.

Most of those aren't even debatable though. You don't get that big names don't equal points in this league. Morrison is much better than Rasmus. Coco was top 10 in ppg at OF and you have some clown rookie over him lol.

And if we want to be honest I could have said Hanley >>> J Roll and Ells >>> Kemp.

Our teams aren't even close.

Most teams arent close...

And we all know pitching depth is key.

TTP didnt have a bad 2 step last yr. While others werw 2stepping Zach Duke and Ross Ohlendorf.

Morrison has played in 62 games and hit 2 career HR's and no SB's but he's better than Rasmus? LOL

What are you talking about with big names? Coco had the best 75 game stretch of his career last year to earn that praise and he hasn't played more than 118 games in 3+ years. Coco is probably better, but Morrison certainly isn't and Sizemore is a big name - that's it...

Gallard = Haren ? Gallardo never broke 450 and Haren had a down year and scored 450
Anderson/Bum = Rickey and Santana. Your guys have never proven anything and my guys have good years every year

Anderson is better than Haren. Just a bigger injury risk. Anderson going to be a monster.

Chase Utley had an MRI Saturday on his right knee.
Utley is battling a bit of patellar tendinitis and won't play in a spring game until it is no longer causing him discomfort. For a guy with his recent injury history, this news comes as worrisome. It's not known when he might be able to make his Grapefruit League debut.
