Dineen should have asked me, i would have vehemently vetoed his Riverside play. Poly is peaking thanks to their new White coach and Colorado Mesa transfers he brought with him.

Strength of a conference is primarily determined by their non-conference record (and their opponent's strength).

Kind of amazing, but three of the 16 SEC teams went 13-0 in non-conference (Fla, Tenn, Okla), four went 12-1, eight went 11-2 and one 10-3 (South Carolina).

The only knock on the SEC is that the non-conference teams are generally pretty weak with the exception of Alabama, Auburn, Texas A&M and Kentucky's schedule (all in Top 70 KenPom NC-SOS).

Amazing that Utah State's last FG was with 3:27 left. 11 straight free throws to close out the game. SD State's late 2 points came with 2 FTs with 2 seconds left.
