"We're saddened to learn of the tragic passing of former LSU football student-athlete Kyren Lacy," LSU said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones, as well as his former teammates and coaches impacted by his passing."

STUDENT athlete?!? STUDENT?!? The guy was a vile, despicable, pondscum killer.

Here is a description of his crash:
Lacy "recklessly passed multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed by crossing the centerline and entering the northbound lane while in a designated no-passing zone."
"As Lacy was illegally passing the other vehicles, the driver of a northbound pickup truck abruptly braked and swerved to the right to avoid a head-on collision with the approaching Dodge," the Louisiana State Police news release said.
"Traveling behind the pickup was a 2017 Kia Cadenza whose driver swerved left to avoid the oncoming Dodge Charger. As the Kia Cadenza took evasive action to avoid impact with the Dodge, it crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a southbound 2017 Kia Sorento."
Police alleged that Lacy, 24, drove around the crash scene and fled "without stopping to render aid, call emergency services, or report his involvement in the crash."
Herman Hall, of Thibodaux, Louisiana, who was a passenger in the Kia Sorento, later died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to state police.


LSU‘s ‘prayers’ should be to the victims of his car crash and the people whose lives this despicable subhuman ruined.
But hey, he’s black, so he doesn’t have any personal responsibility.

He committed suicide after brandishing and firing a gun and leading cops on a chase.

Gordon Jones, Journalism Professor, Horse Racing handicapper, 95. Was a radio guest on the "Track Talk" show, hosted by JK. Famously, Al Michaels took a class from him at Arizona State.

Gordon Jones, the popular handicapper and horse-racing writer for the Los Angeles Herald Examiner, died Friday, four days after his 95th birthday, his daughter Joanne said.

Jones, a Whittier High and Whittier College alumnus, taught journalism at several universities before he was lured to the Herald Examiner in the 1960s by a group of sportswriters who had been students of his at USC.

“Prof. Gordon Jones,” as the byline on his daily handicap read, parlayed his work in the newspaper into writing books called “Gordon Jones to Win!” (1976) and “Smart Money” (1977) and hosting pre-race seminars at Santa Anita, Hollywood Park and Fairplex Park.

Always read prof Gordon and krikorian in hearld examiner sports page which was the best for gamblers in 1980-1990, I was 12 yr old and read every word of sports page

If I recall correctly Gordon got busted for bookmaking. It involved his little Pick 6 group in the mornings, collecting money
and putting in a ticket.

Nonetheless, a very popular radio figure on the So. Cal racing scene in the 80s and 90s.

Great interview with Al Michaels on TBLA this morning talking about Gordon Jones. When Al was his student at ASU, before class they handicapped the daily double at Turf Paradise. If either of them saw something they really liked, Gordon ended class 30 minutes early and they drove together to TUP to bet the double.

During my last two years in the Marine Corps 78-79 I attended several of Gordon’s seminars…I also read the Herald Examinar every day….I lived at all tracks and golf courses during my days off…Baffert and Lukas were Gods back then at Los Al…

I saw this....interesting part is Elway was driving the cart. He was also a business partner. No police called just paramedics.
