i've been using 5Dimes for a long, long time... never even noticed a poker room link anywhere.

something strange going on in 5dimes poker room..
when you create your poker account you choose your screen name..it is not assigned.. well I just sat down at a table with 5 other people
3 of the people sitting down were
V20512
V38764
V98232
I am getting the numbers mixed up but they were very similar names.. all started with "V" followed by 5 numbers
so 5 dimes is running bots or something
if that wasnt bad enough, I got rivered for an all in huge pot when i was a commanding favorite by one of these "V" accounts

I PLAYED A LITTLE THERE OVER THE WEEKEND......WAS REALLY SURPRISED THAT THERE WERE ONLY LIKE 5 TABLES GOING
Just for a heads up. We have Vietnamese players in the same network as 5 Dimes, we assign our players names and numbers that all start with a V. This network is for Sportsbook players only, so you might notice that the V players happen to play at the speed of light. It might have less players than the big boy networks, but the games are all good.
The idea is to have real games, no rocks allowed. Since it is more of a service for our players at Vietbet, it works for us. If players want tons of games they have many options, of course they are more likely to lose money in the other large rooms, but for some people that works.

It's a dirty little secret in our industry, that all Sportsbooks that are in major Poker networks will end up writing checks (lose bankroll) to the network every month.

I think it accepted that you need a Poker Room and casino to stop players from going elsewhere, that is should they like to play one of those two things. Of course, if a Sportsbook customers lose money in Poker to some hardened pros in a large network, it is not the sportsbooks money, it is players losing to other players. As anyone knows who posts or reads on this site, it cost money for a sportsbook to have players fund. By the way Joe, that was funny

I can see players of a sportsbook playing at the sportsbooks poker site for at least 1 good reason......
Sportsbooks usually pick up the Wester Union fees.....and other deposit fees....so the customer sends to the sportsbook, transfers to his poker account and sort of plays free.....
The poker rooms DO NOT pick up fees.....(or most don't anyway).....
I think a good player would like to play anywhere there is a good game with no so good players....doesn't matter the size of the place as long as the game contains action and a good return on capitol....
