Been done in five of the Eagles regular season games this year….Brady, Prescott, Carr, Herbert,and Mahomes…Can’t possibly win with those stats…the defensive coordinator has got to be shown the door….how about trying to rush the passer once in awhile….I think this is a first in NFL history…

Defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon is feeling the heat in Philly.

He's 38 years old.

Generally speaking, I like my offensive coordinators young and my defensive coordinators "time-tested."

Bud Carson was the defensive coordinator of the "Steel Curtain" in the mid-1970's.

Pittsburgh head coach Chuck Noll wisely hired Carson in 1972.

Carson finally got his chance to be an NFL head coach in the late 1980's with the Cleveland Browns.

He lasted less than two seasons in Cleveland and was fired with a career lifetime mark of 11-13-1 as an NFL head coach.

There are so many accomplished offensive and defensive coordinators who have made lousy NFL head coaches.

Norv Turner, Steve Spagnuolo and Wade Phillips quickly come to mind.

In their last 4 games, they had zero sacks in 3 of them. The other game? They got 6 against Detroit who trailed big throughout and had to throw.
