For all you music buffs out there, can you name the first 5 bands where the lead singer was also the drummer for their own group or act? Only 5 please per capper. (Aside from Ringo)

EOG Master
Phil Collins/Genesis
Levon Helm/The Band
Don Henley/Eagles
David Grohl/Foo Fighters
Michael Mcdonald/Steely Dan

Naturally Eagles and The Band sparingly used others, believe Collins did most of the vocals for Mike and the Mechanics too.

Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think Phil Collins was in Mike and the Mechanics

When John Lennon was asked if Ringo was the best drummer ever he replied he's not even the best drummer on the Beatles. 😆😅

Geez, how could I ever forget Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees (they did tour)!?
I think they were playing at casinos.

I had to look up the drummer's name - Peter Rivera from Rare Earth was a heck of a singer. I saw them as they opened the Hard Rock here. They were the most successful white act on the Motown label. I just remember doing shots with him after the show.
