Aaron Rodgers Not A Top 50 Player, According To Pro Football Focus

I'm not sure he will have top-50 results, but that is on the team and not him. They got him no help in a deep WR class draft.

One game away from SB with no game breakers anywhere and a overachieving defense yet not too 50. Ok...
It speaks more about Aaron Jones and how good he was last year. Don't forget the drafted another RB to pair up with Jones, so ARod will be asked to do even less.

It really is puzzling why they don't get him some help on the outside.

Packers were 6-1 in one score games last year. Should we hold that against Rodgers, figuring it will regress to the mean? Or was he a big reason why they won those close games?

In any event, no way they win 13 games this year. Not remotely close.

actually the defense was much better than people give them credit for.

They looked horrible TWICE against the Niners but other than that they were close to lights out.

In BOTH games against the Lions, the defense won the game for them.

Actually in all the division games. They were making stops after stops, giving the offense a gazillion opportunites.

Rodgers needs to run more and not be so careful with the ball

He probably wasn't last year consistently. He's definitely shown signs of slippage, and he's at the age where QB's often do.

I'm not sold on that defense. They got off to a good start, completely shutting down Trubisky and the Bears in week 1, then secured a win in week 2 with a red zone pick of Cousins.

After that? Not so good. A look at the starting QBs they faced? It's not a real strong list.

Yes, they faced Wentz and Prescott. In the game against the Niners. Garappolo only threw 20 passes because they didn't need to. But the win over SB winning Chiefs? That was against Matt Moore, not Mahomes. The win over Carolina? That was against Kyle Allen. Win against Washington? That was against Haskins. The win against the Giants? That was Daniel Jones. The second win over Detroit? That was against somebody named David Blough. The win over Denver? That was Flacco and I think he's now out of the league. And they beat Mitch twice, and he was playing hurt in the second game.

5.7 in yards/play against was 22nd in the league, and 26th vs the run. Their pass D numbers were dressed up due to some many weak QBs they faced.

Yeah, they aren't anywhere near 13 wins this year.

That's ridiculous...and I was at one of his blowout losses. His body of work, whether in the past or now, speaks for itself.

Aaron Rodgers improved to 21-5 all-time against the Bears with a 35-16 victory today at Soldier Field.

One of the five losses came in 2013 when Rodgers broke his collarbone on the first drive of the game.

Lol. So did they earn their 13-3 record this year?

Aaron Rodgers is 17-5 all-time against the Lions and 16-9-1 against the Vikings.

Brady-like numbers against division foes.

Though I'm guessing Brady was slightly more impressive.

A little embarrassing for PFF. Anyone notice they're using their player rankings
on some national televised games when flashing the lineups?

They use them for the games announced by Collinsworth and Michaels, Collinsworth runs PFF

Tom Brady, as a member of the Patriots, was 23-12 all-time against the Dolphins.

He was 27-9 against the Jets.

And against the Buffalo Bills, Tom Brady was.......wait for it.........29-3 as a starter for the New England Patriots from 2001-19.

One of the recipes for success for both Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers: Dominate your division foes.
