Any interest in an EOG season-long MLB contest?

Just a very preliminary post to see if there is any interest in doing something similar to what Goon/Bimmercando, etc. do with NHL.

An alternative to a season-long contest would be to end it on September 1, freeing everyone up for football season and avoiding the crapshoots that can be the September call-ups.

Post here if you're interested, Include a range of stakes you would want to play for, and any format/rules suggestions you might .have

I would play for anywhere from $200-$1,000. I would prefer winner-take-all if 8 or less participants, and 12-15% of the field getting paid if there are more.

I would want sides, totals, and run lines (-1.5, +1.5 only, no reverse/alternate) to be available.

If there's enough interest I will reach out to JK regarding holding funds.

Let's see if we can get something together.

I'll ask BetDSI if they're interested in the idea.

I initially liked your idea about wrapping up the contest on September 1.

Another idea is to begin May 1.

Six months (from late March to late September) is a long time to keep a contest relevant.

We might also think about a way to eliminate players so the contest at the end features only two players in a head-to-head postseason competition.

Just a thought.
