Canada is. We're sending a faction of our army down, too. I think manpower is the biggest need right now.

I just recall a lot of slander toward the US when the big tsunami hit because we didn't react fast enough in sending aid, although I guess in the end, we sent more than anyone (?).

The world uses our kindness and then will turn around and stab us in the back.
Kinda like our Gov't towards us American citizens. :smoke

Lawrence, the Canadian army has developed a state of the art camouflage. You literally can't see them. MAY'N! LOL!!:D
At least Canadians can say what country they are from, and not be embarassed!

Canadians like most people in the world, love US people but cannot figure out how our President got elected. I would say re-elected but we all know that never happened! Maybe someday I can say the same as you, but I doubt, not anytime soon!

Some of us do more than piss and moan! Besides serving my country for four years I tried to get a reasonable President elected, like a McCain or a Lieberman. When that failed, I heard you guys with your 'love it or leave it' bullshit and I got the hell out because George W is an embarassment! End of story!

ZZ, sorry about the moan mis-spelling and thanks for your service. I am not a Bush fan, but the reason he has won is because of the BOZOS running against him. I think your selections are decent but didn't they both give the yeah vote to invade IRAQ? MAY'N!
GODBLESSAMERICA and maybe one day you'll able to return. Come on home.

Yes, they did vote for the war in Iraq. But as I said before, this was a rock and a hard place issue. At the time, the Republicans were savvy enough to put an 'us' against 'them' issue where you were either 'loyal' or a 'traitor'. As you know most politicians especially, could not gamble, for the lack of a better word, their future going up against a very popular position, even though it was basically a 'con job', it was an excellently played out con job by our President and his 'advisers'(sorry, LOL!). That is why the Democrats were once again 'idiots' for nominating a Senator instead of a Governor. Any US Senator will have a public voting record that can be twisted into anything anybody wants. That is why no Senators have won the Presidency in any of our lifetimes(most of us anyhow). Now, as crazy as Dean is, at the least he would have been clear on his dissent for this war and would not have been looked on as a hypocritical flip-flopper like Kerry! As for living outside the States, my family is all still there, but are staunch Republicans(except for Mom, Thank God). I wish we all could get along, and when I talk politics in person, as I did often before the election. I found alot of common ground, especially almost universal belief that the soldiers should have been brought home long ago(You must remember this almost total unanimity was only in person, not on the internet or print media). I truly believe Rush Limbaugh and then later Sean, O'Reilly and others, were/are the reason that noone gets along anymore. Their vitrolic attitudes keep people in a state of constant agitation and I see no good since their inception. At the end of the day, I am still embarassed to be a US person, and I do not know when or if this will change-but I see no end in sight! Gas prices climbing and civil liberties being taken away when just the opposite ought to be occurring! I am sorry if I offended you or anyone else, I feel strongly for the US, but am very frustated over our current course. P.S. Do not worry about spelling or grammar with me, Tony, I could care less! I am far from perfect myself in all things!

Well I'm sorry you feel you had to leave, but in my opinion there's no place like home. AMERICA the greatest country in the world. Thanks again for your 4 years of service. MAY'N or MAY'M which ever applies.

Kerry or Bush would have been wasted votes. And even if kerry would have been better than bush, bush had virtually no chance of winning illinois.

I have moved to a foreign country soon after George W got elected! Unlike you, who is an obvious sheep, willing to say whatever your great leader tells you to say! Our President is a major embarassment to anyone with a mind of their own! And I believe I earned that right to speak my mind when I served my country four long years. It was not I who let my country down! You got a lot of nerve to question me!

WOW Cream, you let W run you out of the country? Are you coming back in a few when he leaves office? Or is your idea of a foreign country some carribean island? If so, I don't blame you for staying.

Actually it was my own brother, (a huge ditto- head) who said that I should move to Canada if I do not like this administration so much! I did live awhile in the Carribbean first, but have since moved on-incognito, so to speak. It is really frustrating wanting to be compassionate and charitable in the world today when all some poeople want is war, war, war! And if you are not with us, you're against us! Or , if you do not agree with this war, you are a traitor! I've heard them all, Good Night and peace to all! P.S. Remember to pray for so many in dire straits in the South!

Thank you for Serving our Great nation

I SALUTE YOU!!!!!

I don't believe what GWBUSH Says......I believe what is in my heart.

I believe in States Rights....I Believe in Freedom......I believe in our Constitution...

No where in our Consitution does it say we live in a Democracy.....We are a Federalistic Republic

I graduated College with a Major In PE and A Minor in History (which was Historically and liberally distorted)

I am a Constitutionalist..... and our states rights are getting fucked

But the closest thing we have to Non Communism in a Society that gets taxed over 50% of their money every week is the Republicans or total Revolt by out people www.fairtax.org

The tax laws in this nation that were instituted By Democrats and the Social Programs that were intsitutionalized in Both parties over the last 50 years...but started by the Dems with Roosevelt

The problem is that with the 14th Amendment We (our predecassors) made State Senators publicly elected. By the Consititution The House is to Be publickly Represented (HOR) and the Senate (decided how each state decides to elect them)....ONce the Amendment made the Senate vote PUblic it took the Power from the states then the People.

We have no Power against our Government anymore

The Communists/socialists took over this country Years ago....

How do you take over a Nation?????

Education System

If you preach the National Government's Versions of History ( why should we have a national Education system) with thier Education system then you have them where they want them

Drill that shit into their heads for long enough they will believe it

No ,I said I moved after he was elected, everyone knows that was in 2004! By then, everyone knew what kind of President he was , and yet he still won. That is why his opposition in the States and around the world could not understand how he won, most of us still cannot!

So, who received more votes in 2000? One hint, it was not our President! P.S. Alot of 'Jews For Buchanon' and many Negroes chose not to vote in a state controlled by the President's brother! But hey, popular votes and Supreme Courts deciding Presidents is very reassuring to some, to others very disturbing in a so-called 'free society'!

Me: You're welcome. We're a country of 32 million people but will do what we can to help out. I appreciate your appreciation.
