TCU didn't have a choice. A PAT in NCAA isn't tried in a game with no time left unless it can affect the outcome. Thus the margin before the PAT has to be between -2 and +2.

Ok. ..saw IowaSt coach wave his players back over to the bench...then after a moment I thought I heard announcer say TCU decided not to kick and everyone was shaking hands....announcera should learn the rules
