Looting: the natural response to the unnatural and inhuman society of commodity abundance
Mangos: don't worry, you will still be able to eat mangos after the revolution (only they will be fresher and more delicious)
Market Economy: the loss of self in the aimless and unconscious creation of a world beyond the control of its creators
Minimum Wage: the minimum amount necessary to forestall revolution
Molotov Cocktail: a martini made with too much vermouth and not enough olives
Phone Book: the thickness of every activist's CSIS/CIA file if you ask them
Public School: feedlot
Public Transportation: the sorry state of public transportation these days makes you wonder...ever rolled a bus? (see also barricades)
Revolution: the revolution always gets co-opted (see permanent revolution)
Sell Out: what we'd be willing to do if anyone was willing to buy
Shopping Mall: the only place you can go these days to escape traffic
Soy Bomb: you'll know what it is when you see it
The Spectacle: that which we are given to contemplate, so that we forget to participate (see also Monday Night Football)
Suburban Angst: the realization that the new SUV won't fit in the garage
Star Wars: life is exactly like Star Wars - except, in this corner of the galaxy, everyone thinks Darth Vadar acts Presidential, Storm Trooper armor is considered fashionable, and people in the Empire call the Rebel Alliance a bunch of attention-seeking complainers who should stop running around the galaxy bustin' shit up
SUV (Suburban Utility Vehicle): a gated community on wheels
Trotskyist: emaciated adolescents who spend too much time chain smoking and drinking bad coffee. They talk about the revolution in cafes, and try to make it happen by selling bland newspapers
Trotskyest: being the most Trotsky. E.g. "David is Trotsky, Edna is Trotskyer, but Ezmerelda is the Trotskyest."
Victory: longer chains, bigger cages.
Voting: see victory.
Weekend: when you buy back what you made during the week
