Trubisky's judgment when running RPOs is troubling.

Don't like his competitive fire either.

Didn't Chicago head coach Matt Nagy once subtlety reference the difference between Mahomes and Trubisky is their approach to the game (fiery versus subdued)?

Unfair criticism of Cutler..plenty to rip him about but that wasnt one of his issues.
Said it after week 1 Trubisky's decision making is poor.
The more they simplify things the better it is for him

2020 is a key year. Everything fell into place in 2018, including an easy schedule. So a much tougher schedule, yet jacked up expectations (media and ploppies). The under was the season win total for many, myself included

They need 10 wins and at least a wildcard or Pace, Nagy and Mitch will be shown the door

everything Ive read says the Bears are picking up the 5th year option on Trubisky at an estimated cost of 25 million

from december 12 :

As for what the Bears will do, one executive “guaranteed” the Bears would pick up the option. But the general vibe from those Sando spoke with was that Chicago would do so as to not “undermine” Trubisky at this stage of his contract, or offer up an admission that they made a mistake to trade up and take him. Ultimately, the Bears are committed to Trubisky for at least the 2020 season. And even if they were to commit to a fifth year at a price north of $25 million, there are escape hatches the team could use in case things go south.

Pace went from hiring an old defensive coach in John Fox to a young offensive coach in Matt Nagy.

The more I hear about Nagy, the more I think Pace is going to finish 0-for-2.
