NBA suspended

Probably NHL is next.

Delayed start to MLB? Maybe a shortened season?

Sure does feel like 911 in the county, doesn't it?

These were realities we probably should have accepted weeks ago, but didn't. MLS suspended for 30 days which feels about right, once everyone else is dark and we have a 2-3 weeks of relative isolation I think there will be a much better view of the situation. I can't see this being a years long dark age of society. China was pretty much shut down about 6 weeks, that's the worse case scenario in my view.

Will the Small Business Administration be giving some low interest loans to the touts who have very little to sell for the next month? :)

Las Vegas was looking forward to a blockbuster NFL Draft, now just going to be teams sending in picks electronically.

The biblical phrase, "This too shall pass," comes to mind.

Wait!

Maybe the bible was referencing coronavirus.

Casino shutdowns are next.....

I doubt they will shut them down because the casinos would in turn beg for government relief or stimulus dollars. Demand to go out to casinos is going to weaken anyways, casinos are scaling back staffing and shutting down parts of the business in response.

Viejo is right. Casinos the next dominos to fall. Ohio governor just came out and said the casinos are NOT exempt from the shutdowns. Boyd just announced they are closing a casino in PA for a couple weeks. Casinos are germ factories and an ideal breeding ground for viruses.

Why is Valley Forge the only one closing? I think many will find ways to stay open if it makes sense to, but ordering them closed opens the door to government money and government officials absolutely hate giving money to casinos. I don't disagree they are dangerous places to go, but I also know what great powers they have in getting their way. Only way they close is if virtually all commercial establishments are forced to close, similar to the lockdown in China before and Italy now.

All they are doing is adding sanitizer stations next to the deposit slot ticket cash converdion machines and all over the rest of the joint. They're not going anywhere anytime soon. Trop poker room at last check about half their normal weekly capacity.
