They mirror the Bears in how they are run, no doubt. I can remember about 5 very good seasons they have had in 50 years, the most exciting being the Silver Rush season.Of course this is the Lions I'm talking about, and even FairWarning can confirm that they have a strange devotion to all of their employees. All the bums end up staying well past the time that any other organization would ax them!

They have some pretty loyal fans. If they ever got their act together, Ford Field would be a very hard place for the visitors to play in.I have a few friends who are Lions fans. They can tell you all about their ONE playoff win in the Super Bowl era.
Their schedule lightens up now, agree with you on them playing better. I think the Jets or Detroit job will be more attractive for a new hire though. Don't forget, Houston traded their first two picks in next year's draft.Romeo Crennel is a horrid HC, BUT he is a phenomenal 1st time Interim HC. In 2011 with KC he took over a 5-8 struggling KC team from Haley, and in his first game faced a 13-0 GB team, and beat them. He finished 2-1 and the Chiefs were stupid enough to hire him for the next season. As expected, they won 2 games, he was thankfully fired, they hired Dorsey and Andy, and the rest is history. But I expect Houston to play well initially the next few weeks as a sigh of relief from the dreadful O'Brien to Grandfatherly Romeo.
Houston has a young star franchise QB locked up though, the most valuable commodity you can have. It'll easily be the best available job for Bieniemy or whatever New Coach they get next year.Their schedule lightens up now, agree with you on them playing better.
