You have the second best running QB in football....on a critical 4th with that distance, KC always blitzes....it has to be a run/pass option or vice versa.

Damn refs rigged another one for Mahomes

Portnoy, who had placed a $1 million wager on the Bills to win the Super Bowl

Gee, I wonder why Portnoy is so upset, LMAO

Hang in there Raiders, I'm sure one of these years Joshy will beat Mahomes in the playoffs

NFL analysts rip officials after horrid call makes AFC Championship Game appear 'rigged' in Chiefs favor vs. Bills
It wouldn't be a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game without a questionable call or two, and one has set off fans and analysts alike.

Late in the second quarter, Patrick Mahomes launched a jump ball in the air. Buffalo Bills safety Cole Bishop seemed to have the interception, but he and receiver Xavier Worthy fought for the ball to the ground and it was ruled a catch for Worthy. But after replay, it was evident the nose of the ball touched the ground, which made many believe the pass would be ruled incomplete. However, after Sean McDermott challenged, the play was upheld and the Chiefs added to their lead to make it 21-10 before half.

This prompted many to start up the whole "game is rigged" argument. NFL personality Adam Schein was very vocal on X.

"Two of the most respected people in sports media - Tony Romo and Bob Stew - nail it as usual," Schein said. "Pretty crystal clear that wasn't a catch. But it's 'bring your ref to work day' in KC."

Another watcher said the call was "insanity."

"They called this a complete pass," James Laverty posted on X with the highlight of the play. "Another rigged game for the Chiefs. Insanity."

Should the Bills come up short, this will be a play that is talked about all offseason.

If anything Allen showed today he's not a real QB, how many real passes did he even attempt in the 2nd half? It was all allen trying to bull run and short swing/bubble passes. On the last drive for KC it was 3rd and 5 and KC passed for the win, Allen would have tried to run or thrown a pass short and prayed for a missed tackle.

There was suppose to be a different crew today but the Chiefs brought their own refs. This was said before the game.

The blatant miscall - in addition to several others scattered throughout the game - drew fierce backlash from viewers, prompting one content creator to suggest that the league made a “sneaky” change to their officiating crew to balance the scales for the Chiefs’ AFC Championship clash against the Buffalo Bills.

Yeah, the league made a sneaky change to their officiating crew, this was posted by Fish earlier in this thread

Clete Blackman: head REF BUFF/KC

The so what about Clete Blackman:

Chiefs are 5-6 SU with Blakeman as the referee.
He's the only ref in the NFL in which the Chiefs have < 0.500 record. When you consider how few of games they lose that's pretty amazing.
With Blakeman 54% of penalities are against home teams.
Home teams went 5-11 SU this year with him.

Bills are 6-2 SU with Blakeman.

You can't actually be this stupid can you? Imagine being so ignorant that you think the Chiefs bring their own refs to the game, I don't even know who their own refs are and what it even means, I understand Mahomes bending you over yet again has you on tilt, but I mean really, bringing their own refs? Laugh out loud funny

Joshy wasn't to blame this time, he played well enough to win and the offense scored enough points to win, they lost because their defense didn't play well. Tie game late in the fourth quarter, each team with one possession left, Mahomes does what Mahomes has done ever since he entered the league, drive his team down the field for a late game score, and Joshy did what Joshy has done since he entered the league, come up short at the end. Everyone knew the game would be close and come down the end, One guy led his team down the field and scored, the other guy didn't, that's it

Wrong again Raiders, the catch was a good one and the correct call was made. Yes the ball touched the ground, but the ball is allowed to touch the ground provided the receiver had complete and total control of the ball, which he did, the replay clearly showed Worthy possess the ball, the ball hits the ground but never moves, he had 100% control of the ball which makes it a legal catch, had the ball touched the ground and moved even a little, it would have been ruled no catch, just the tiniest amount of movement would have reversed the call, but that wasn't the case, the ball never moved when contacting the ground which made it a good catch.

"That's a catch by the rules"

It's odd to me that so many fans don't know the ball is allowed to touch the ground as long as the receiver maintains complete and total control of the ball, they made this rule some years back, the guys complaining the ball touched the ground don't know the rule, the play wasn't even close or controversial, it was an easy call to make
