Lackey has a history of getting no run support so it's nice to see him get a run early on. Identical start to Mondays game minus scutaro getting caught stealing after lead off single. MIght have changed entire fate of Monday's game. Hoping it changes fate of todays :)

nice 1-4-3 double play from Lackey. Gets out of the inning scoreless on 13 pitches. A much better start for BOS than MIN. Let's see if BOS can give Lackey some run support... like 12 more runs or so in the 2nd... as he typically doesn't get enough run support...

I am pretty annoyed that Boston wasted an out on Ortiz trying to steal 2nd. Scutaro got caught stealing by MIN catcher how the hell did Ortiz think he would make it? Hope BOS is taking today seriously.

Yeah they should, but also thank god okajima just got out of that bases loaded situation in bottom of the 7th. 6 more outs and boston wins.. would be great if they could throw up a couple more runs here
