Buccaneers off to a great start...will that continue without Griese??

Bucs HC Jon Gruden confirmed that Brian Griese "probably" has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season. He added that they will "get Chris Simms prepared" for the week #8 game vs. the 49ers (Tampa is off in week #7) but also "might bring another quarterback in."


Any TB fans out there that feel confident with Simms at QB again....or no big deal?

Simms can hold his own, they will play ball control and plus with Tampa D you do not need a great QB

Nobody really knows yet what Simms can do because Gruden has used his stuborness down here to keep him out of games just as he has done Mike Alstott. Every week Mike Alstott starts of the game getting a run or 2, and/or possible passes and looks impressive, but hardhead Gruden then sits him down the remainder of the game simply because he's not one of "his" guys, and doesn't want him to succeed.

Keyshawn Johnson saw all of this coming. We should of all listened to him........
