I feel for him
Sadly - I sense he will fail in those 2 last attempts
I would think knowing how much money is at stake he would have at least written down the PW some place
write it down on the wall... cannot lose the wall
These aren't regular passwords. Most are minimum 32 letters, symbols and/or numbers. But like many
said above, you'd think he would have wrote it down in 32 different places for that kind of money.
No password re-set either
It's strange that he says he has two more attempts since there's no limit on password tries.I feel for him

Those are private keys that you are talking about. Wallets have passwords that you can set up. They also have backup paraphrases. Some are 12 words, others 24 words. These aren't regular passwords. Most are minimum 32 letters, symbols and/or numbers. But like many

Just read again, it's his hard drive that he's trying to unlock. As long as you own your private keys, password/passphrase attempts are unlimited.I guess that is not the case here. It said he has 10 tries and he has used 8. So he does not have unlimited tries and knowing how that market works maybe for the best
Now there is this story.....there must be many more out there like this guy and the other referenced at the beginning of the thread!
