We need them ALOT more than they need us. That's why the Idiot got destroyed in trying to start a Trade war with them. They have no enemies in the world when it comes to trade. They trade with everybody. They don't even recognize Taiwan but they still have major trade with them.
the USA gets about 80% of our medicine from china .. so we cannot leave them right away. There are some companies leaving china but it has been slow. There will be some talks in the future that maybe replacing china with India. Since india has low wages better demographics along with they already make medicine for the USA it seems like the choice . Outside shot is Vietnam. One problem is as china's military gets larger the shipments leaving Vietnam could have slow shipments if there is a war with china.
also the state of california pensions , i think illinois pensions along with the US military pensions are invested in china so if war broke out tomorrow oh well. Some other states could be in as well. China holds over 1 trillion of US treasury bonds about 15% of the treasury bills last time i looked

Funny how people scream to pay $15/hour living wages here, but we move all of out manufacturing to these countries and pay them pennies on the dollar.

That's the greedy businesses fault. They should have been taxed heavily if they left the USA, to de-incentivize them from doing it. Unfortunately we had idiots in Gov't that didn't believe in taxation as a tool of gov't, so here we are, and the genie has left the bottle. Not China's fault, just like it's not Mexico's fault when greedy US businesses incentivize Mexicans to illegally cross the US border to work for pennies on the dollar.
the investors like it cause they are making money. Taxing them, the gov't would have to look at profits & cost, they won't do that. I wish they would..In the end the people in the USA lose.

To become more independent we need to start legitimately funding public education, especially trade schools. The dumbing down of this nation is by design. The true rulers want an ignorant publc because it's easier to further a more authoritarian agenda and continue the trend of a haves and have nots society.

Yes we get the majority of our prescription drugs from them
being one of the most unhealthy countries and getting worse, its a very big dependence
we need to eliminate that and start recreating the ability for the US to manufacture all of our prescription drug and medical needs
it looks that way.. this was set up many years ago. The people would have to get behind changes in large numbers. the left is not strong enough to change things right now. Ya know it could change very quick , like when the money runs out.
