agree ... why would the banks give out loans to people and businesses at ocean front florida and manhattan property with 30+ year loans with no chance getting the money back with the flood ?

The biblical flood is an ancient memory of the flooding of the black sea following the breaking of a natural dam at the bosphorus after the end of the last ice age. The black sea at that time was fresh water and some of the first towns and settlements surrounded it, the torrent of floodwaters obliterated everything and permanently raised the sea several hundred feet. The estimate is that this happened between 7000- 10000 years ago, at the dawn of modern history. Some theories say there was more than one flood, as the climate whipsawed following the melting of the great northern ice sheets.

It takes a special kind of moron to not realize the climate is changing and the impact it's having on the planet
It is changing, it's always changing, the question is what should we do, and what can we do. There is little evidence that even the most drastic changes in the way we live will have any effect.

The current climate change hysteria is really an attempt to gain power and wealth .

everyone knows but what is changing it.. Scientists say one thing that it is going thru cycles of the sun..Politicians say it is the cars. etc..

if the world is going to end in 20 years why are the banks giving out 30 year loans

Keep in mind we are in a interglacial period, barring human factors(which are real) the ice WILL return, is that better? I think not.

It takes a special kind of moron to NOT realize that “climate change” is a non-falsifiable term. ANY weather event, EVERY weather event, in the history of the world, can be characterized as climate change.
Put up or shut up: give me an example of a 6 day weather event, anywhere in the US, in the last 100 years, that a motivated person could NOT characterize as climate change. Can’t do it? 4 day weather event in the last 100,000 anywhere in the world?
What is NOT climate change? EVERYTHING IS!!!
Scientifically ignorant, brainwashed climate alarmists scaremonger, but all they are doing is cherry picking the statistically inevitable extreme ‘bad’ end from a bell curve of billions of data points of weather data, ignoring the good stuff and normal stuff, then, like Chicken Little with her head cut off, squawking that the planet will end in 12 years if we don’t stop a minuscule rise of a minuscule trace gas (that’s necessary for life on the planet).
Go on, you made the claim. Back it up: give an example of what is NOT climate change.

There are, indeed, real, bonafide environmental problems. But blaming inevitable weather events on ‘climate change’ is like the ancient Greeks blaming bad events on ‘the gods’.

I've been reading that we're going to have a very cold winter because of the solar minimum, we'll find out. Where I am they're saying 8-12 inches tonight.
