College football needs more impromptu matchups of Top 25 teams.
Why not a week on the late-season schedule for creative matchups involving teams with fascinating stories?
Maybe feature both the football and basketball teams from two schools for a weekend of action and festivities in late November/early December.

ESPN would mess it up, like they did with Bracket Busters.
I wouldn't limit it to the Group of Five teams. Give teams like BYU and CC a chance to play themselves in or out. At least teams like Minnesota last year have tough conference games to prove themselves.
