Coastal Carolina vs. Cajun Ragin Louisiana Lafayette

A great under the radar game and a rematch of a game won by CC 30-27. A combined 1 loss between these 2 teams. CC has been on an impressive roll this season. CC freshman QB Grayson McCall with a great season.

CC -3. Revenge angle in favor of LL. LL beat Iowa St in first game of their season. CC with a recent impressive win over BYU.

I like CC -3 in a close one. The streak and revenge angle are concerning.

Thoughts?

Every~time I've watched the Chanticleers this year, I come away think'n these guys are trained big time to play dirty by their coaches.

But I too will probably be on CC -3 too, Bigrunner...

No insight on this particular game, BR.

Louisiana was a 9-point home favorite in the October 14 game.

Coastal Carolina, in its dream season, is now a 3-point home choice in the Sun Belt Championship game.

I like the term REMATCH instead of REVENGE.

I love betting same-season rematches because coaching/strategy is such a huge factor.

Well-coached teams make the necessary adjustments in the second of two meetings.

Last time I saw ULL play they were incapable of snapping the ball to punt. Hope they have worked on this deficiency. Ridiculous
Money has shown on ULL.
I like Coastal.

You're right, the center snapped the ball over the punters head 3 times. Screwed up the snap on a field goal also.

Also the HC Nappier took an intentional safety with his team leading by 5. He got away with it when app st missed a chip shot fg that would have sent the game to overtime.

Napier is a really good coach, I have no idea why he did what he did to end that game

I like CC also, should be one of the better college games this weekend.

That was crazy, maybe he thought they were up 6.

He gave an explanation, which made sense...if they were up by 6.
But they weren’t.
Skinny’s suggestion would be about the only thing that makes sense.
Either that, or he thought 5-2=4.

Agree w JK, correct to do it up by six.

The opening odds start here
CC looked ahead and it almost cost them, but prevailed by the skin of their undefeated teeth. They'll be a lot more focused with more on the line this time around.

The long snapper had botched four snaps earlier in the game.

Yeah I saw that, I've never seen that many botched snaps at any level in my life. I can't recall all the details right now, but even at the time I remember thinking they would be better off going for it on fourth down than doing what they did. I'm not positive, but I think after taking the safety then punting, they only gained about 25 yards of field position from where the fourth down was, I remember thinking they should have gone for it on fourth down rather than willingly turning a 5 point lead into a 3 point lead
